My first introduction to the Delta was the late 80's. In those days there were hardly any weeds and I was catching 13" fish that literally weighed 3/4 pound.

so is jersey tract then where BIG BREAK is today? thinking about how old river went around franks tract and out to dutch very cool. thanks for posting this

No, Jersey Island is still there. Big Break would be off to the left of Dutch slough. You can see where Iron house is.
