I've tried several products but still haven't found anything to get rid of the oxidation on my Ranger.
Open to suggestions. Help me Obi-wan.
Thanks,

If it’s heavy oxidation, I think you probably need to wet sand it. Just googling should get you plenty of bass boat restoration tutorials, reviews and videos. I tried it on an old ranger and was amazed.

3M marine gel coat restorer. I got mine at TAP plastics. It went a long way using it on a buffing wheel. I think it was about $17. I took off the cleats, handle bars, trolling motor, what ever was in the way and did the whole boat and it came out great. The top cap was heavily oxidized. If yours was worse than mine It probably will need to be done longer.

No "miracle" spray-on wipe-off product is going to cut through that oxidation--been there, tried that, failed. You will need a high-speed buffer, wool pad, and a cutter like 3M's Marine Fiberglass Restorer & Wax. My '87 Ranger looks like new.

Dom did a great job on his boat, but he used a high speed buffer and cutting compound. Hit him up on facebook
