Hey everyone

I fished both Berryessa (twice) and Camanche over the past 3 days and to say I struggled would be an understatement 4 fish total lol. I was on good fish before it got warm over the past week or so, but since then I’ve lost the fish. I feel that I have fished the shallow and medium depth throughly only spent a lit time time deep (30ft and deeper). I feel like I’ve thrown the kitchen sink at them. Anyone getting into them? I know there’s tourneys coming up at berry so I understand if people are tight lipped. Any help would be appreciated

Nate

With the warmer weather these fish are going to start their spawning migration. They will be here today gone tomorrow, start working secondary points and fish deep to shallow, shallow to deep, fish should be shallower later in the day as they suspend to warm up. They've been deep and are going shallow, fish with that in mind.
Any exposed wood that is above the water is a great target as the fish will get close to it to warm up. Junk fishing is norm for me in the spring, keep moving and keep fishing.
