Some Hint:
Click on “Weight Contest” to entry your Guess or it doesn’t count.
One Club has 6 boats with 12 Anglers and each boat will weight in 5 fish for a total of 30 fish. (What is you guess for 30 fish?).
Last year’s winner, won by 2 lbs.
The tournament will be held on the Delta (big weights).
Additional information – Since we are posting the guess weight on the NCCC web site – help your follow angler out and post your guess in the subject line of this post.
Remember the contest will be posted on the Northern and Southern Forums.

It's official. October 14, 2006. I just received our permit from the DFG. As Marty said stay tuned for details. As of now there is a tentative meeting scheduled for May 10th at 7:00 PM for all clubs. Please have at least one person from your club present so you can have input on our tournament. At this time we ask that you hold back any questions until Marty sends out the information including the upcoming meeting. It will also be posted here on Westernbass.com in case we do not have your club information.
Thanks again to Spiro for putting on a great tournament last year.

This is want I would do – I would talk to your club and have them switch/vote to have your club tournament to launch out the Sugar Barge or Lundberg's while your top 12 (6 boats) come down to Russo's and fish the NCCC. That way you bring your support group with you for the weight in. Then all come over and have a great BQ. Don’t let your club sit this out – bragging rights are on the line. _________________ Marty and his boat the “Bassanova”

We the NCCC Tournament Committee would like to make it clear - it is not mandatory for clubs to obtain one Sponsors to fish in the NCCC Tournament. The Committee like you have full time jobs and running tournaments is not our function in life. We are all volunteers that just love to fish. We are trying to put on an event that is fun, builds camaraderie, and brings pride to belonging to a club. We are just trying to build on the original idea from last year.
In the Sticky: 2nd Annual Northern California Club Classic posting we added to Sponsors “This is not mandatory and if you can’t obtain one please still come and join the fun.” We just know that some of you are well connected or own a company that would want to help with a sponsor or be a sponsor.
This event is for all Nor-Cal bass clubs regardless of affiliation – FLW, B.A.S.S, independent or Girl Scouts (just kidding on the Girl Scouts). Which Nor-Cal bass clubs wants those bragging rights of being the number one club needs to come out and join the excitement and fun. _________________ Marty and his boat the “Bassanova”

Wed May 24, 2006 4:16 pmRe: Out Come of NCCC Pre-Tournament Meeting
We had four Clubs show up for the NCCC Pre-Tournament Meeting. Thanks to Bass Classics of Santa Clara Valley, Diablo Hawg Hunters, West Valley BassMasters of Tracy and Delta Bass Club.
We understand that it was hard for some clubs to make it to the meeting because of the distances involved and work but we know you wanted to be there with us.
We reviewed the clubs that were signed up and potential clubs and emphasized clubs need to be signed up by 31 August because t-shirts will need to be ordered in the sizes they need.
We reviewed the rules for the tournament. There were three clubs involved in drafting the rules for the tournament (Bass Busters of Santa Clara, West Valley BassMasters, and Delta Bass Club). Each of the clubs present received a copy of the NCCC rules. The NCCC Chairman will be sending the rules to the other clubs.
We reviewed Insurance - each club president is to verify that each boat or their team has coverage. We showed the event permit to each of the clubs and stated we will obtain event insurance.
We covered Safety – Lights and life jackets being used at blast off and live well being checked as the boats are being launched. We covered Boat flow in and out of Russo's Marina. The North opening ONLY.
We reviewed the need for volunteers. It was determined that each volunteer will receive a 2nd Annual Event T-Shirt and Free admission for the BBQ. The clubs living closer can do the morning blast off and the clubs that are out of the Area can do the afternoon stuff.
We need help for a “Release Boat” and Bass Classics of Santa Clara Valley stepped up and will take care of that – thanks Paul.
We reviewed the Sponsors that have signed so far.
1. Richard Bates Law Office
2. No Sweat Mist = Misty Girls
3. Cooch (Andy Cuccia) = MCing the event
4. Dee Thomas = 1/2 Day Guide Trip
5. Bob’s Marine
6. C & C Marine
7. Inland Marine = 2 motor services
8. Phillips Service
9. Mell Cottons Sporting Goods
10. AC Semi Pro = One Team Entry to a Angler’s Choice Semi Pro Tournament
11. Hooters = Chicken Wings
12. Total Tunes = PA System and Music
We will have the “Draw” for boat position (What Flight) on September 19th at 7:00 PM. We will need 3 clubs to do this. The Location is yet TBD
We whet over the BBQ and some of the problems from last year. All Club anglers fishing the event are covered for the BBQ with their Entry Fee and will be provided a BBQ ticket. If Clubs desire additional tickets for family and friends, please let the NCCC Committee know by 14 September when they submit “Final Boater and Non-Boater Registration”. The cost of these additional BBQ tickets will be $TBD for adults and $TBD for kids. Kids under 5 years belonging to club members will eat free. We all had a laugh about not bringing your neighbors kids if they are under 5 years old. BBQ Tickets can be obtained at the Door but will cost $TBD each We need to stress to each club to try to know if they will need additional tickets by 14 September so we can plan accordingly. If it sounds like we were trying to discourage tickets at the door, we were. Last year some of the last fisherman to come in did not get to eat.
We took some suggestions from each of the clubs and we will present them to the NCCC Committee at our next meeting.
Again thank you to all of the clubs that have signed up so far. _________________ Marty and his boat the “Bassanova”

Just wondering if our club can join some how? We're the Sonoma County Belly Boat Bass Club. We fish from float tubes and kickboat. You may have seen us on ESPN2's Bass Insider or Bass Tech. Any way, just wondering. _________________ WWW.SCBBBC.COM http://catchemcarobaits.com/index.html

We have running lights. We can be tied together and we have no engines to kill. We can slay toads too. Just thought I'd ask for fun. Go out and kick some bass. Maybe when I step up into a boat I'll join you guys. It sounds like a good time.

Hey Rich (CATCHEMCARO),
Sorry it took some time for me to get back to you – been fishing and spending time with the family! I see Steve tried to give you an answer to why Belly Boats are not including as part of the NCCC. It is just like any of the other tournaments (FLW, BASS, WON, 100%, Future Pro) which don’t include Belly Boat. Sorry! But just between you and me the real reason is we don’t want to be embarrassed by a bunch of guys on tubes and we are in 20K plus rigs. _________________ Marty and his boat the “Bassanova”

Damn! I missed your BASS Insider episode. Congrats on your press in any case!
Hey, I was wondering, if you guys tie the tubes together, how do you decide who's the big motor and who's the little motor? Would using the kill switch leave a mark?

Just a reminder that we only have a short time to the cut off for clubs to Register (14 September 06). We have 10 clubs that have committed, or intend to commit. We are looking to have 15 clubs at this year’s event.
I received a call from a club asking about payoff at the NCCC. If one club has the question, there may be other that have the same question.
As for the pay outs - it will be 100% of what comes in minus costs (costs will be for trophies, t-shirt, food and miscellaneous). This cost will be deferred by the number of sponsors we obtain. As of now we have a total of 15 sponsors, but keep in mind some of these sponsors will only provide product and not funds. The goal of the Delta Bass Club is to give everything back to the clubs. Then again the winning club will get the bragging rights of being the number one club in Northern California. _________________ Marty and his boat the “Bassanova”

The Castmasters check is in the mail, thanks for your time!
Just like to let everyone know that we now have 14 clubs intending to fish the Northern California Club Classic.
Welcome aboard Fresno Bass Club. Just think 14 Clubs – 84 boats – 168 Anglers. This is going to be the Club event of the year!
We also have 8 more days to have your club Registration (14 September) – how about a Sacramento club?
There will also be a drawing for boat position that will be held on September 19 at 7:00 PM at Hooters Restaurant in Dublin, CA.
All clubs are invited to attend this draw.
One last announcement – As the duly appointed Secretary of the Northern California Club Classic I’m authorized to reveal to you that we will be holding a weight contest. This weight contest is for everyone, Pro, Non-Pro, Back seat, Co-Angler, Guides, and TD from both Northwest and Southwest Forums. This includes the Anglers that are going to fish the event (the 14 clubs) and even the Moderators of this forum can get in the fun. Everyone is invited to Guess the Weight to win the NCCC tournament.
More to come in the coming weeks – the rules and prize - this is just declaration that we are going to have fun and we want you to be part of it.
Starting thinking about it, you will not be guessing one angler weight but the whole clubs winning weight (12 anglers). _________________ Marty and his boat the “Bassanova”
