Water Damage HDS10

Post by superneal »

Out fishing this past week in a little rain and for some reason now my graph is not working. Has anyone experienced this before? I have tried to turn it back on, which it lights up but nothing works. You can see a water ring inside. What to do???

There was one run of product that had bad seals around the screen. This is a warranty replacement for sure. Just call Lowrance Customer Care at 1-800-324-1356. They will give you a return authorization number tied to your explanation of the problem, you send it in and you'll get a new one in return. Be sure to take any cards out of the unit before you send it back. You can save any waypoints and trails onto a blank SD card to put into the new unit. Lowrance will not do it for you.

Lowrance is not what it used to be. If you are 5 minutes out of warranty you are screwed. At one time their customer service was really good

With the Lowrance 5 year Service Advantage program you get about 3 years more coverage than most other brands. Plus C/S is much better today than it was 3 years ago.
