What's too cold for Huddlestons?

Postby jeff canterbury » Sat Feb 07, 2015 4:42 pm

As the topic reads... What's too cold? Any suggestions for a Ky boy trying to catch the biggest fish in his lake. I fished 40f water today with a rof12 68'hud. No trout plants, just big gizzard shad in this lake. Notta

Hard water (ice). Otherwise, they work, but below 40 degrees it will be a struggle to find a big fish that's eating, because they don't need to eat often at those water temps.
If you have bass that eat big gizzard shad, they'll eat a Hud.
