Who will stop Minnesota's offense:

Post by Greg_Cornish »

Vike's offense is looking awesome today. The only way Browns are stopping Vike's offense is with long offensive drives of their own. Their defense isn't slowing Minnesota down. What team will do it?

Favre is not even having to side step. He might happen to last the season if he doesn't break a pinkie.

Greg, that D will be the Packers. Vik's have 1 weapon AP, what
an aweson back. Packers will get after the old guy's arse.
Watch out for Aaron Rodgers and the rest of Green Bays
explosive offense.

The Vikes have a great offensive line, Two awesome tight ends that can be full backs with ease, an excellent second string back and good receivers and an experienced quarterback that might even hang in a full year with good protection. He might be hurt after 5-7 games though is my guess. Hopefully the rivalry will be good between those two teams though. Hope I get the game.

Week 6 and 7 Vikings have ravens and steelers. Slow AP a bit and get in Favres face. Force them to throw the ball. I predict 7 turnovers in those 2 weeks alone.

Can't argue with that, only hope they can't do both. Those games will be Favres test.

G-man, Da Bears have the defense to stop any offense. Aaron
had a few long balls dropped or just off a wisker that would
have changed this game completely, I believe.
This was a game the Pack would have lost last year, 7 losses
by 4 points or less.
Maybe this year we will win these types of games.

I would like to bitch about some bad calls but every game
has them, so I won't because we pulled it out.....MG

Hester was the only receiver catching the ball.. so sloppy with the dropped passes missed routes. Urlacher out for the season is a huge blow up the middle for da bears, tough to replace a guy like that. Hopefully Cutler can get the O going

EYY G-spot   yehh the offense, particularly the running game sucks right now, they will slowly start to score more points, as far as forte goes.. he always hesitates after receiving the handoff.. that slight hesitation costs him an extra yard.. he's always waiting for the play to develop, looking for an opportunity, it is usually too late and he can't generate the speed or momentum to take advantage of the opportunity.. Forte needs quit being a p+$$y and run more agggresively. ONe good sign is that bonehead Olsen, who dropped a crucial pass against the Pack as well as missing routes horribly, finally caught a few passes. This offense will not blow anyone away this year but the defense, special teams will give it a chance to score. Case in point was how they held Pitt in check and barely won. They should have won the game against the pack as well.
