WON Bass castaic Today

Mike Hart and John ViaZanko did something today they are generally not known for, they only beat the field by around two pounds. Hart and Zank had a little over 17# with Jim Basham and Lance Karafelas really tight on their transom with around 15 1/2# for second.

During the awards WON Bass Tournament Director Brian Linehan announced a new option for the next event, it's a "Beat Hart and Zank" option. He did not mean with baseball bats, he meant on the water....fishing. This option will carry over until someone beats them. The amount of money in this bank could possibly get up to a very large amount before that happens.

Brian will post the full results as soon as he can. The traffic coming back from the lake was brutal on the 210 with the Breeders Cup just over at Santa Anita.

Good Job Lance and Jim. Chud and I fished until 12:30 or so for three largemouth and three stripers. Been a while since I have been down south. Fish were caught and we had some fun stay'n outta folk's way that had money on the line. John has a new club in his bag so watch out guy's

Seemed like a light turnout? I like the outside bet on beat'n Hart...
