Isn't $165 for basic entry "minus" $15 per entry for the TOC 91%? How does it become 100%? It's still a great payback but just don't see how it becomes 100% payback as written. Also, having to be a member in good standing is going to hurt the number of teams showing up, may want to say if you want to be in the TOC you need to be a member and if not then show up and fish for the days prize money.

Guy,

Valid questions indeed.

First you are probably right about there being more boats, if there where no membership required. We are all for more boats, hence a better payout. The fact that you can only pay the $20 membership for all the events, and still get a membership package, is not a bad deal. As it is written it states....

"Using these 4 remaining dates, Won Bass will also qualify teams that fish these events. You must have a Won Bass membership to have the opportunity to attend the TOC. If they choose not to fish for a TOC opportunity, or the chance at the Alaska trip, we could consider it!

As for the Entry vs Payout - The entry fee is $150 per team. I Know your familiar with the NBW entry and payouts, so it should not be that different. As we have also decided to charge $15 per team for Lake, Insurance and Permit Fee's, instead of taking it out of the payouts. So with a $150 entry for those that are fishing for a TOC spot, the payout will pay back every dollar, except the TOC reserve of $15 per team. Since the TOC reserve money is paid back at the TOC 100%, it is considered in the industry a to be a 100% payout. I understand that at the tourney it will be 90% on site, but in actuality it is 100% overall. As always, the Options are 100% payout.

As you may know, we pay out 100% of the reserve money at the Teams TOC, as well as two Nitro/Mercury boat packages, all the sponsor prizes that have been held in reserve for the event as well. I know you did not get a chance to fish our TOC last year, but you should have seen all the great stuff those guys walked away with.

I hope everyone takes a second to give John Wick a chance to show you what he has in store. I know he and his crew have some great plans for the region, and are mixing it up a bit too. Where else can you fish 4 tourneys and have a chance or more at a Alaska Trip for 2, and the chance to win a boat on the teams level?
