WON Bass Pro/Am Havasu HELP!

I registered in January as a non-boater. Ashley just called me this morning and informed me that there are not enough boats to get me in. She also informed me that had I signed up WITH a boater that my spot would be guaranteed.

I would really love to fish this tournament and I went to a lot of trouble to arrange the time off, etc.... If there are ANY boaters out there that are planning on entering in the next day or so that have not done so, I would gladly give a 10 dollar spiff and buy them a beer to simply have them add me as their non-boater so I could be guaranteed a spot. Of course, as you know the pairing is random so you have no other commitment other than to put my name down on the paper. I have already paid my fees in full.

Any advice would be appreciated. This is my first non-club tournament and I was really looking forward to it.

Get a list of all the PRO's and find them on face book and see if they signed with some one alot don't and if you find 1 that did not they can add your name to the reg. also put an add in the "find a partner" area of this site http://westernbass.com/dotcom/findapartner/

I wish i could help you. Im not going to be able to make to Havasu this year. I hope you get in. Facebook is really a big help when it comes to this. Make friends with the pros that fish em regularly and set yourself up to sign up with one if possible. Good Luck!

Find Billy Egan on Facebook he ussually is in contact with all the pros and he will make some calls. Best of luck. In the future sign up when the schedule comes out so your higher on the wait list

Thanks guys. I will look up some guys on FB tonight...However I will check this thread regularly for the next day or so for more advice or any other info. To all who replied so far, thank you so much for taking the time to chime in. I really appreciate it...
