i've got some time off around the holidays and was planning on hitting melones or pedro on the 26th or maybe the 30th. i was thinking of thowing a swimbait exclusively. i know nothing about swimbaiting(except what i've read here). i was thinking 6" BBZ floater or slow sink. would i be better off dragging a hudd with this colder water? or are there just too many real trout hitting the water right now?
thanks
is it worth a shot.

If I was you I would seriously just throw a huddelston all day. My experience at those lakes are if you just stick with the hudd all day you will atleast get one fish and it will be a nice one.
