Water Clarity: Clear (4+ foot visibility)

Report: The gate guardian at Anderson (a caucasian lady in her 30's) I believe wakes up on the wrong side of the bed a few times a week. If she cops you an attitude do not respond back or she will find a reason to not let you in. One time I arrived at 7:59 and 45 seconds, and she told me to turn around because they weren't open and I couldn't park in front of the gate. The gate opens the other way so I was not blocking anyone or anything. I guess the nice sheriffs and mussel inspectors there make up for the evil gate guardian.

Water Clarity: Clear (4+ foot visibility)

Report: Water is really clear, fish are up spawning. Saw some 8+ pound females in the upper end where the river comes in. Fished around the flooded timber with swim baits and caught 3 in the 3-4 pound range. Switched to a drop shot did some bed fishing, caught 2 small males, but couldn't get the females.
    City: San Jose

Tips: Do some bed fishing, water is super clear and those females are huge! Don't waste your time getting up early, i was on the lake at 7:00 am, but didn't start catching till the sun hit the water at 9:00am. Have fun.

Water Clarity: Stained (2-4 foot visibility)

Report: Took off work early and walked the shore at Almaden Reservoir for a couple of hours. I ended up with 2 bass that were both 2+ pounds. Both of them were caught on a Basstrix Paddle Tail Tube with a 1/16th ounce Falcon hook. I also had a couple of followers on the same bait. The water is WAY down and both fish were right on the bank in shallow water.
    City: San Jose

Tips: Water is cooling so the slower the presentation the better. Both fish I caught hit the bait on the pause so I suggest a stop and go retrieve with shad colored cranks or swimbaits. Good luck!

Water Clarity: Clear (4+ foot visibility)

Report: Went out today on float tube. Pulled 5.2 lb from the 10ft broken tree stump by where the stream runs in to the reservoir. Caught him on 5" senko watermelon color. hook was too deep to get out w/out major damage so i cut the line. If you catch a 5+lber look for a 2- offset gamakatsu worm hook.

That was all all for the day.
    City: Campbell

    Tips: Senko, senko, senko.

    Water Temp: ?

Water Clarity: Stained (2-4 foot visibility)

Report: Two different trips on the bank and three fish for a total of 5 hours of fishing. All the fish were from 2.4-3.0 pounds. One on a junebug brushhog texas rigged, and two on jigs with brown and purple mix. One fish was staging off of some wood right on the bank and I pitched to the point of the wood and it hit after a few shakes. saw some guys float tube and they were catching a few. No pressure on this lake right now sow get there and spend a few hours up the bank, you'll catch one.
    City: San Jose

Tips: Find a spot on the shore and make multiple cast to structure or places you think will hold bass(steep walls, gradual sloping mud banks with a point near by) Use crawfish imitators and even give a go with a crankbait. Float tubin=stay in the middle of the lake and cas t towards shore and bring it all the way out. Slow, if they aren't hittn'slow, don't be scared to speed it up. good luck. come back to this lake in the spring and try with rat-l-traps, if it's anything like chesbro, you'll get em'.
