Water Clarity: Clear (4+ foot visibility)

Report: Ok, I decided to write a report on this lake because no one else is. Went out yesterday with a buddy o mine at about eight and started with top water, and got nothing. Stopped at about nine and started hiking. We didn't get any hits untill we got to the steep clis. We ound the ish by working the banks real ast with blades and rattles. Once we ound them, we started using jigs, brush hogs, and senko's. By noon me and my buddy were making bets on who would catch the 100th ish! Even though we were still catching em every cast we called it a day. We lost count at 150 but guessed that we had about 180 ish up to six pounds. A lot o the ish were small, and some times you would reel your trape in with two ish on the end. I'm only giving this report on this lake, because would like to have another angler to talk with. Out o the three years I have been going thier I've only seen ive ishermen. Write a report i you go! Good luck

    Water Temp: 77.1

Water Clarity: Stained (2-4 foot visibility)

Report: Went to Centimudi at 0515, air temp a cool 70, lake is down to 47t and releases have slowed, motored over near big backbone and got into the middle o a bunch o trout(do they count?) and caught 4 o them on a rip bait. changed to a popper and caught the irst small spot, and I mean small, the bait was larger, started throwing jigs to try to ind some size and got bit twice but no ish, kept at it or 2 + hours with no luck. Ran back out into the main lake area and cruised the bank and ound a scadzillion ish on my meter in 26t and suspended in the 14-18t depth. Got out the dropshot equipment and dropped down an MGM#127 sluggo and it got blasted by a 1.6 spot. Went back in with a #109C 4 inch curly tail tight on top o some bigger that average blips and got my best smallmouth o this year ater it charged around boring deep 4X, get it up and slide it into the net, a nice at dinner plate looking ish that went 3.26lbs on the culemrite, Got over that one and caught 11 more(5 small mouth) on the 109C curly tail. The skiers and jet skiers started up around 0900 so I went home

Report: Hit the south end in my tube about 11:00 AM. The lake is ull and the water is warming. Hooked one on a crankbait out on the lats in about 8 t. o water. Moved in close to the tules and ound better action. Caught a couple more on a lizard but missed many more hits. Just couldn't get a good hook set on them ish.

Tips: The underwater vegitation which is usaully getting tall by now is very short so the bottom eels clean when you ish it.

    Water Temp: 54.3-54.9

Water Clarity: Stained (2-4 foot visibility)

Report: the lake is down 1.5 t and murky do to the rains recently, it has cooled o a bit or the same reason, debris still prevalent and touhg to see with the north wind blowing this morning, got in at Centimudi, all the debris has been removed by Shasta Rec. Comp. Ran over into the lower Sac around Dolly point and little back bone or a dozen and all were small with one at 1.8 on a hula grub, the rest came on the MGM #127 in a 6 inch curly tail on a darter head. No real pattern today, caught ish rom the bank out to 20 t with most in the 6-14 t area. Didn't ind too many in the back o coves, guess the weather pushed them o, did see some some bass ry roaming around and my best guess is that the spawn will be over soon. I did notice that the 1.8 was at and ull o eggs, 2 others were as narrow as a ruler and the rest were small males. 43 degrees going in, 61 coming out with about a 12 mph wind

    Water Temp: Unknown

Water Clarity: Stained (2-4 foot visibility)

Report: My dad and I ished up at San Pablo this thursday and we seemed to do well. Got up there around 6:00 AM barely any people. Weather was great and so was the ishing at times. We were ishing at Pines the whole day. Around 9:30 AM things started to heat up and the ish were hitting every 30 minutes. We caught 8 all together, and must o had 11 bites. We caught one 6 pound catish and everything else was trout. Ranging rom 13 to about 16 inches. I had one big trout on which must have been at least 7 pounds but my line snapped ater a 10 minute battle. But or the most part ishing was great and conditions were excellent.
    City: Millbrae

Tips: Use nightcrawlers but not the whole thing. Cut in hal and use one hal o it. Inlate with air and put attractant on the bait. It is okay i the hook is exposed just as long as the worm is moving. You can put powerbait or any kind o sot bait i you want. And last, is to make sure you have a long leeder around two eet. GOODLUCK!!!

    Water Temp: 53.5-55.0

Water Clarity: Clear (4+ foot visibility)

Report: Fished the pm beore and during the storm ront that was coming in. The ish had moved back rom the lats and were on rock piles in 15-17 oot o water. Earlier , beore the storm I had the ish located in the lats 8-12 eet o water and scattered. We started Thursday looking or a reaction bite throwing a 90sp stasbe in ghost , rattle traps, and cb200's. Nothing shallow so ater 2 hours o nata we pulled o the lats and went to humps. We picked up about 10 ish the largest a 4.6 lb largemouth that my buddy caught crawling a yum tube. I caught my ish on a carolina rigged 9S senko in #301 color. The spots and smallmouth are about to pop.
    City: Sacramento,

Tips: Learned a valuable lesson while carolina rigging today. I was lasy so instead o the leader and swivel I just pegged the weightabout 18 inches above the hook. I lost three nice ish at the boat on this set up beore I could see what was happining. The weight was acting like a pendulum since it was ixed and could not slide up and down the line. I was using 3/8 th oz. tungston weights. Regardless, once I became motivated to get unlazey and rig up a carolina rig like my papie taught me on Santee Cooper the problem was solved. Remember, it's only my opinion but EAT a spot or two and give the smallie's a boost.
