    Water Temp: 55

Water Clarity: Muddy (0-2 foot visibility)

    Report: Skunked.
Tried dropshotting robo worms and C-rigged brush hogs. No takers. Saw another boat pull in a couple of dinks.
The good news is the lake has risen considerably since my last visit. The top of the "island" off the main lake point to the left of the launch ramp that was 10' above the water is now 15' deep.

    Water Temp: 40ish?

Water Clarity: Muddy (0-2 foot visibility)

Report: Went tubing today, Jesus what a mistake, my tube lost water so I had to ditch it and swim. Kept my rods though and the lures I had on them already, took off the wet suit and kept fishin, what the heck right?
Turns out after fishin my tube out Browning had some faulty seals on the air valve, time to make a few phone calls.
Anyway, I still caught some fish by the bridge but I had to work for them. Got a ticket for pissin under the bridge by fish n game. What a good day!
    City: Palo Alto

    Tips: WEAR A WETSUIT!

Report: Tough day at Anderson. Conditons were perfect but the fish were not cooperating. Fished a few hrs and only landed 5 bass. All were caught on drop-shot cut tail worm. Tried carolina rig, senkos, shakey head worm and made a big effort to get a crankbait bite going without a single hit. Fish were caught off points in 25ft of water
    City: Foster City

Tips: Drop shot 4" worms when all else fails.

Water Clarity: Stained (2-4 foot visibility)

Report: Mainly submitting temp report. Did really badly.
Only caught one on a dropshot oxblood red robo worm, off a point in the North end of the lake.
Lost one one a senko and one on a silver and black broken back rapala cranked over the top of a grass bed.

Foggy in the morning till around 9:30, they require running lights and a 5mph speed limit till it lifted.

Lake is the lowest I've ever seen it. The hump to the left of the launch ramp is now an island six feet high.

Water Clarity: Clear (4+ foot visibility)

Report: Hit the lake around 8:00am, headed south, hit my first spot, immediately caught two drop shot fish, the second was 2 lbs. Kept moving down the lake hitting various points along the way, managed to catch 9 fish, 3 in the 2 pound range, the rest around the 1 lb range. All my fish came on a drop shot in 15-20 feet on points. Drop shot was 6 inch straight tail robo worm in oxblood light red flake. Off the lake around 12:15, quick trip, but some weekends that is all you have time for.
    City: Hollister

Tips: Get out there, the bite is pretty good right now.

Report: After having a little trouble with the people doing the mussel inspections, we finally got on the water at around 9am. I focused at my graph as we pulled up our first stop, and quickly realized how many bass were suspending chasing bait. During the first hour, we had non-stop action. We found a huge school of bass. On a 100 yard stretch of bank, from 20-50 feet of water my fishfinder was filled with balls of bait with bass slashing right through them. All parts of the water column were holding fish. Yamamoto Hula Jigs in green pumpkin were catching the better quality fish (2lbs). Drop shoting a prism shad colored Roboworm with an 1/8 ounce weight caught more fish, but they were a little smaller. We even picked up a few on a

Report: An unusual September storm just passed a couple days ago. We were faced with post frontal conditions, but it was still quite warm for being 8:30 in the morning. There was absolutely no wind and the water was quite clear. Our first stop was on a big weedy flat that had a nice ledge that broke off ito the main lake channel. A few bass were busting bait, but they would not hit any of the topwater baits we threw at them. I should have maybe scaled down the size of out lures. The baitfish the bass were chasing were relatively small. Throwing a Norman Deep Little N crankbait we catch a few 13 inchers. Moving north up the lake, we stop on another big flat which had some isolated rock piles. Fishing a jig we catch two more small ones. After being flat calm all day, the wind finally kicked up at around 1pm. We went back to the spot we started the morning and caught about 10 more bass in about half an hour. Most of the fish were suspended, so dropshoting a prism shad 6

Water Clarity: Clear (4+ foot visibility)

Report: Thought the fish would be shallow today, with the storm front moving in. Not so. They were even deeper, about 18 ft for me. Another guy told me he was getting them down at 30 ft with the shallowest at about 20 ft. Size small with best going about 1.5 lb.
    City: San Jose

Tips: Friday Aug 7 should be the first day after the storm front. Should be a poor bite. Good challenge and character building.

Water Clarity: Clear (4+ foot visibility)

Report: Been catching 2-4 keepers a day along with a half dozen dinks. Fish seem to be in the weeds or on broken rock. Some fish shallow around 7 ft, but most at around 16 ft. Not great bite, but OK.
    City: San Jose

Tips: Light colors seem to work better. Reds, watermelon, etc. Most fish on plastics. Shallow fish early, then down to 16 ft.

    Water Temp: 72

Water Clarity: Stained (2-4 foot visibility)

Report: Fished from 1:30-5:30 in the middle of the day and heavy boat traffic. Caught 9 bass up to 2lbs. Typical Anderson clones. Caught 3 on crank bait and 6 on senko. Nothing on spinner bait or drop shot. Fish were 10-20ft off points and rocky shoreline. Wind and boats coming within 20yrds of me while fishing made it tough. It was still worth it.
    City: Foster City

Tips: Soft plastics on the points or any water where boat waves are causing a mud line. Also where wind current is passing over a hump or ridge you will find active fish on the back side.

    Water Temp: 74

Water Clarity: Stained (2-4 foot visibility)

Report: Went out after work, bite was solid, caught 20 fish in 4 hours. Most of my fish came on a drop shot with 4.5 inch oxblood red flake robo worm. Did manage a couple of fish on a shakey head with a 6 inch oxblood red flake robo worm. Almost all my fish came on points in 2-25 feet of water. Best fish was right at 2 lbs, with most in the 1 lb range. Fish were bunched up, if I would catch one on a spot, I would stay and catch 3 or 4 more in 5 or 6 more casts.
    City: Hollister

Tips: Had my best luck just letting the drop shot sit. Seemed like the fish wanted a pretty subtle presentation. I usually fish a drop shot pretty fast and keep it moving, fish seemed to want is just sitting still.

    Water Temp: 73

Water Clarity: Stained (2-4 foot visibility)

Report: Fished Sunday and today, the bite was on shallow. crankbaits and drop shot were the ticket. today was a bit different, the bite was not as aggressive. The bass wanted a more subtle presentation. I have to say, if you want to really get some good fishing in, go during the week, boat traffic is at a minimum and you can really work some of the coves where recreational boaters liket to hang out and make a fool of themselves.

Report: Took my oldest son out today. We started in the north end, missed a couple. Headed south of the bridge and caught 4 on drop shot and 1 on crank. Went back up north to rattlesnake cove and caught 1 more on drop shot and then had line snap on a lunker. Son caught 1 more on senko. All were on the small side (biggest was 2 lb). All were caught in 6-15 ft of water. Had a great day with my son.
    City: San Carlos

Tips: Go during the week if you can, boat traffic is minimal.

Report: Auldridge- When you launch and go to the left of the lake instead of the right when you caught the beauty there are 2 coves on your right back to back. The second one is rattlesnake. I believe the fish are deeper because the water was so warm. Going to go again Saturday but for a couple hours. The wife is coming along so you know how that is... COngrats again on that awesome fish.

    Water Temp: 70

Water Clarity: Stained (2-4 foot visibility)

Report: On the water about 9am. Went into Rattlesnake cover. Nothing. Wetn across the lake to 3 main points. Nothing. Went back to rattlesnake and my buddy pulled one. Went directly across from raettlesnake to some rocks first cast I pulled one. Made a run to the other end of the lae towards the bridge and found a little picket and pulled one out of there. Watch some dude pull out a 10LBS 4oz right in front of me. Damnit. Went towards the ramp and pulled another one off rocks. Off the water at 3pm. Ok day if the water was not so warm. There is no shrubs at this lake which sucks so all fish are on rocks.
    City: San Jose

Tips: Found that water temp is a little too warm so fish are in about 20 feet of water. All one worms color, red, shade.

Report: Overcast WX provided few boats and calm water. Fished 2:30PM to 6:30 for 9 bass. Caught fish on crank, jerk bait, and senko. All were shallow. Not pattern - overcast scattered the fish. Great top water conditions but the fish were not buying it. I tried all day and not a single nibble.
    City: Foster City

Tips: Fish shallow with your confidence bait.

    City: San Jose

Tips: Lake is low, fish are not in there usual spots.
