Report: Fished with my Dad rom 9am-4pm.I caught and released 12 spots rom 1.5- 3.0 lbs . Mainly ished the Willow Cove area, since my ather doesn't like to move around much.Tried all kinds o plastics or 2hrs.,not one solid hit, so I went to nightcrawlers.Had to drag these Carolina style( only 3/8 oz. weight ) across the hard sandy points , in 5-20 eet o water.Bite was tentative. From the depth , seems like pre-spawn . Lots o un , the ish ought past their weight, the weather was great, and so was the company.
    City: Clovis

Tips: A better plastics isherman than me could probably clean up on those sandy points...not much happening in the rocks...good luck to CBC isherman next Saturday.

Report: STARTED MY DAY AT 5:30AM AND BOATED 19 KEEPERS LARGEST ONE AT JUST 4.2LBS BUT THAT DID NOT BOTHER ME AT ALL. ALL WERE TAKEN AROUND DUCES BOAT DOC ON GOLD BLADE SPINNER BAITS. FIRST TIME ON BASS LAKE BUT IS WAS A MESS OF FUN. MY STYLE WAS VERY SIMPLE SLOW ROLLED SPINNER OVER ROCK PILES AND UNDER DOC COVER THIS PRODUCED MANY FLASH STRIKES. I GOT MAYBE 6 FISH RIGHT AFTER THE BAIT HIT THE WATER.
    City: OAKLAND

Tips: GOLD BLADE SPINNER BAIT WITH CHARTRUESE SKIRT WORKED VERY WELL FOR ME. AGAIN IT IS IMPORTANT TO RETREIVE SPINNER AS SLOW AS POSSIBLE WHILE BANGING SOME STRUCTURE AND BOTTOM ALONG THE WAY.WATER IS ONLY 4-13 FEET AROUND DOC AREA 3/8 OUNCE WILL DO THE TRICK.

Report: We celebrated our birthdays and 29th anniversary on Bass Lake in our brand new Bass Cat. It was slow but steady ishing. Kathy split shot a limit on Monday, I only managed 1, drop-shotting. Tuesday I caught 7 and Kathy caught 1. All o our ish came rom 27-32 eet o water, 30' being the "magic number". We ished some old outside stu that we haven't ished since '96 when we sold our Ranger. It was quiet, only 3 boats on the entire lake Monday, Tuesday there were maybe a dozen boats but most were trolling or trout, I love this lake! 6lb. P-Line, Robo Worms "Body Shad" (Aaron's Magic), and 1/4 oz. drop-shot and 3/8 oz. split-shot weights on #1 round-bend hooks. Had a blast, Pastor Will

Report: Went ishing or the sleeper bass at "Bass Lake" on riday. There were only our boats on the lake; which was great. We went ater a cold ront which wasnt the smartest thing to do but hey what else is there to do on a day o. Located ish everywhere rom 18t. to 25t. My buddy and I caught 9 ish all together with about a two pound spot average. 5 on pig n jigs, 2 on a split shot worm (shad pattern and purple blue), 1 on shakin (purple blue), and 1 drop shotting (shad w/chartruce tail). The sun really didnt creep up over the mountains that day and the wind became vicious. I really had hoped to have a good day there because it was the irst time my buddy had been to the lake and o us that ish this lake we know that this lake can put out some quality and quanity. Another couple o weeks and this place should be boomin!

Report: Fished this lake all week, usually rom 5:30 AM to 11:00. No topwater action at all and some spinnerbait ish and crank ish could be caught early morning around weeds and rocks. Best bite though was on 1/8 oz dart heads and 4" shad colored worms o steep rocky points with some type o brush. Fish were caught rom 20-40'on these worms, shakin them and trying not to lose to many. Only had one ish all week on brass n glass. We caught a total o 60+ ish all week with many running rom 13-15" - 99% spotted bass. Bite usually shut down ater 9:00. No boat traic - NICE!! There was bait o these main lake points and that's where we ound the ish.
    City: Livermore

Tips: Be persistent - work that bait in and around the trees and bring lots o dart heads !!!
