Report: Took out a backseater Jim Dowling and we had a real un day. Jim ished Senko's most o the day and ended up catching 4+ ish with the largest at 3lbs near the end o the day. We ished middle and south or the day. I caught ish on buzzbaits, spinnerbaits, senko's, and cranks. Best ish came on Spinnerbait. Our best (5) went 13+. The most ish came on cranks. Fished inside weedlines, outside weedlines, lay down trees, extended rock walls. All produced. We caught 20+ ish during the day.
    City: disco bay

Tips: Our tide was low, lower, and raging incoming to high. Fished some new water once again that wasn't very productive. Throw your crank right to the bank...and make sure your spinnerbait is hitting the lay downs, and or pipes. Still have no clue about the buzz bait, next trip I will throw spook and PopR which are consistent producers or me. Stay sae. TG

Report: Just got back rom the Walton's Pond tourney out o Ladd's. 43 boats ished it, my girlriend and I took 3rd with 12.15. 2nd was high 13 and Jon and partner took 1st with over 19. We put 3 in the boat with buzzbaits, my girlriend lost two nice ones on back to back casts, and I had our blow ups on spooks but they wouldn't commit. 9am switched to rogs. The were just playing volley ball with it or the irst two hours, slapping at it. About 11, they started to nail it. Beyond what we weighed, we lost several our pound class ish in the weeds and had one toad o a bass blow a hole in the mat about 3 eet in diameter just as my girlriend lited her rog up along side the boat. Very un tourney, Thanx to Jon o Walton's Pond.
    City: TRACY

Tips: Summer time is rog time. The bite was just started to really turn on or us when we had to had back to weigh ins...

Report: Tuesday I went out o Orwood and ished the southern Delta. Buzzbaits and spooks without a single blow-up. Switched to a white/white spinnerbait and spent the next hour taking ish o the hook...12+ ish in one hour...Talk about a reak o nature...All the ish were rom 2-4 lbs...The bite slowed down as the tide was going out so I ran around and ished rogs on mats or several hours...Caught (4) ish and missed more than I can count...2-4 pound ish...Spent the incoming tide later in the day throwing Senko's and zippers. Caught a total o 20+ ish during the day.Wednesday I went searching or new water in the middle Delta (Mildreds, Connection, etc.). The water was dirty just about everywhere. I tried topwater (Buzzbait-PoPR). Caught two nice ish on the PopR and the usual 0 with my buzzbait...It must be me. Decided to throw my spinnerbait I used the day earlier and ended up with a much smaller result...(2) keepers 2lbs and a bevy o dinks. Switched to Senko's and Zippers and caught about 20+. Only (2) with any size...both on the zipper. All told in day 1 a 17+ lb limit and day two 13+ lb.
    City: Discovery Bay

Tips: I'm still learning the tidal system, but will say that I'm beginning to love the transition rom high to low a lot more than I once did...Fish structure...rocks with tules and all the pumps you pass. With the spinnerbait make sure you're hitting the structure and let in all or drag it quickly over the outside weedline and then lutter to the bottom beore beginning your retrieve. Have un and stay sae on the water.

Report: Fished the ABA with partner Dave. Got launch #29, got to our spot at 6:20 and had a limit by 6:55. Hit many o the bass on buzzbaits and blades irst thing in the morning. Untill low tide, then we lipped deadringer on the out side o the week line. We hit 30+ ish and ended the day with 13.14 lbs w/ a 5.08 lb kicker, that gave us 15th out o 50 boats. Had a un day on the water and just missed the money AGAIN..
    City: Fremont

Tips: Fish the high tide and throw those buzzbaits untill your harm hurts. It's a blass...

    Water Temp: 72-73

Water Clarity: Stained (2-4 foot visibility)

Report: Did a guide trip today with a couple rom Marysville. Let at 6 out o Ladds in Stockton and ished 14 Mile with buzzbaits and senko's. With the incom'in tide it was wide open. They caught approx. 20 bass by 9AM with they biggiest in the boat at little over 3lbs with a couple lost that would o exceeded that. From there I took them into Pixley with the tide comin in or a rog bite. Didn't exist or us, but the buzzbait was still working and the senko was the predomite bait that they wanted. Most o the ish between the two spots in size were 1 1/2 to 2 1/4bls. Only spent a hour in Pixley and went hunting or larger ish with the tide still comin in.Went into Telephone Cut ishing the last 1/3 o the cut. Water was stained to gin clear throwing buzzbaits and rog's. Caught around 5 more with a huge lost on a rog that took it to the weeds bye bye 0/1. From there went to Little Potatoe and proceeded to catch ish on senko's but with better quality ish. Missed more than we but in the boat. End result or the day around 35 ish with a 3rd o that in missed ish. It was exceptional day. Bottom o my boat looked like a senko actory.
    City: Castro Valley

Tips: Advice,, ind the ish with reaction type baits such has the buzzbait in white. I you ind a bank that has quality ish on it. Come thru it again with a senko and you will at least double the hits over the buzzbaits with the quality possibly better.

Report: Bobby Barrack guide trip out o Lundborg rom 5:30 till 3:30. Explained we've been catching numbers but ew 3's and over, we wanted better quality ish. Can't tell you where we ished, but Bobby did an outstanding job o putting us on a quality topwater bite. Started o with buzzbaits and spooks, then on to rogs. Great to see the master in action. Overall, we boated about 20, three in the 1-2 range, the rest rom 3-5lbs. Very impressive! Best ive around 19-20lbs. That's not including that our bite to ish ratio on rogs was under 40% and that we lost another 6 or so chunks that were legitimately hooked and just got buried in the weeds beore we could get em' up. My girlriend doesn't like the big rog rods so she was trying to do it on my heavy 6'6" spinner bait rod and lost a ew good ones too. Bobby Barrack guide trip was worth every penny in my opinion...

Report: Fished down south rom 5:30 till 1:00. Great buzzbait bite just outside the Lazy M in Italian, turned out to be mostly stripers, 13"-19". Spent the rest o the day tossing spinner baits, senko's and o course, more buzzbaits. Boated 17, mostly 1's and 2's with one just over 3.

    Water Temp: u.k.

Water Clarity: Stained (2-4 foot visibility)

Report: Fished only the aternoon in the south delta. Unlike last week it was windy. Saw lots o bass guys on the water or the middle o the week. Got 12 ish up to 3lbs. Blades got the better ish. Tides were all screwed up (due to the pumps?), never got the real low tide in the aternoon.
    City: Brentwood

Tips: Guys on water were real riendly, but when did all dinks become known as "males"? A small bass is simply a small bass unless you see it guarding a nest.

Report: Fished new water once again...this time in the Franks Tract area and ound some nice ish. Another 20+ ish day with 13 in the 2-4lb range. All ish were caught on Spinnerbaits, zippers, and senkos. Had a solid 15lb limit (5) by 9:00 AM which is rare or me. Fished rom 6:30 out o Orwood and inished at Noon. The usual structure...lay down trees, pipes, rock, weeds, and tules. Most ish were caught on the bank or not ar rom it. Spinnerbait ish were all caught at the outside weedline.
    City: Disco Bay

Tips: Still looking or the big ish, but comes with paying ones dues I suppose. Fish real tight to structure and make sure your spinnerbait is hitting something whether it be tules or the weedline. See you on the water.

Water Clarity: Muddy (0-2 foot visibility)

Report: Fished south end rom about 7 to noon. Boated 20 plus 1 small stripe. Mostly 1-2 pounders with one about three and another close to our. Most action came on blades, a ew on buzzbaits, senko's and junbug zipper. We ound ish everywhere, some in the current o the main channel and some in slack water boat house areas. No solid pattern, just covered a lot o water.

Water Clarity: Stained (2-4 foot visibility)

Report: Pretty good day,or a change. Out o Lazy M at 8:30 AM, ished bottom o tide without a bite. Things took o around 10 am,till we let at 3 PM. Twenty ive ish in the boat up to 6 lbs. (17 lbs or best ive,,,,not great, but good or a lake isherman). All on senkos,,,,,,stayed South all day.Caught ish in all stages,,,down to about 5'.....Fished Islands, dead end sloughs and Old River,,,out o the current.Best colors were Black/blue lake until the sun got high, then the lighter colors worked better.
    City: San Leandro,Ca.

Tips: Caught ish on the in-coming tide. When the sun got high, shade pockets in the tules produced all the ish or us.....

    City: Brentwood

Tips: Best pattern was tight to shore, or spawn ish well away rom any current low.
