Report: Fished Saturday aternoon/evening and endured pretty windy conditions. Caught one largemouth split shotting a 4" inesse worm and a smallmouth lipping a tube. Both ish hit the bait while swimming it back to the boat. On Sunday the wind died down and was able to get on a bit o a pattern swimming tubes and inesse worms through brush early and late and through shaded areas during the middle o the day. Spinnerbaits and cranbaits weren't doing it. Wish I had tried some lukes since they really seemed to be keying on small plastics being swam through the middle o the water column.
    City: Albuquerque

Tips: Check your depth inder to see what level/depth most o the ish activity seems to be in. Most o the ish were suspended in or over trees/brush in 15 to 25 oot o water about 6-12 eet deep. Also, when reeling in to make another cast, pause once beore getting the lure back to the boat. I had a surprising number o smallies chase the bait all the way to the boat.
