Report: Finally got out on the water since the aba fish off in tri cities in september. Thought it was going to be a joke but actually turned into a great day once we figured them out. Got to the lake around 12:00 and it took about an hour before the first bite. We ended up catching 6 fish all large mouth and missed one, biggest fish was over 6 backed up with a 5 a 4 a 3 and two between 1 and 2 pounds. We pulled the big one the 5 and a two pounder all off the same point, two fish came down by the cemetary and one off the rock wall up the emigrant arm. Caught all the fish on jigs and plastics shallow, 15 to 22 feet. Talked to another buddy who was on the water and they were catching fish too with one over 3 but didnt get a chance to talk to them again to see how they ended up. Got pics of the three big ones on cell phone will try to post them.

Report: fished emigrant a few days ago we got around 20-30 average 10-14 inch smallmouth and a few alright ones mixed in but nothin over 3 the biggest fish was a largemouth about 2 and a half in really deep water on the left side arm on a tube we were crawling them as slow as we could stand and the bite was very subtle but we ended up doing pretty good also had a few fish on grubs, hula grubs one on a ripbait and a few more on a senko just letting it take its time to get to the bottom. the bigger largemouth was caught on a hula grub but the dark brown or green color tube was for sure the ticket with some softshell crawfish scent.
    City: cp

Tips: go really slow and feel out the bottom its amazing how many more fish we got once we started fishing the tubes just a few inches at a time witha pause inbetween.

So, I slowed down with tubes and hula grubs and ended up catching about thirty smallmouth and largemouth. Biggest went 3.1, smallmouth on a tube. Had a little over eight pounds for five. Not bad, not great!

Report: Fish are biting on cranks and jigs all over right now. The bite has been improving and we will see what the cold does. I know that there have been some tournaments here in the fall that I always manage to miss, I was wondering if any are upcoming here. I have been to a few club sites like Craterbass, but I have not seen any listed. I am guessing that these are usually turkey shoots, none the less any responce about this would be great.

    Water Temp: 70's

Water Clarity: Clear (4+ foot visibility)

Report: The lake is steady falling about a foot a day or so. I have been catching lots of smallies from the banks on the freeway side. "Keep an eye peeled for Rattlesnakes, I saw a couple here lately." My best lures have been lipless cranks, jerkbaits and bladebaits in crome or white patterns. The small fish are feeding heavily on baitfish and the bigger ones shouldn't be too far away.
