    Water Temp: Cool to warm

Water Clarity: Stained (2-4 foot visibility)

Report: Well, the morning started off very slow. The last two times I've been there, as seen below, I've done okay. I went to the same spot and pretty much nothing. Only two crappie in two hours. Oh, I was at the French Gulch Marina. So i moved to Boulder Gulch. found a great spot by nice trees and boom! Fish after fish!!! Woohoo. My aunt and uncle drove 3 hours to fish crappie and at first I was afraid. But with this new spot, it was on. We all pretty much caught our limits. We left with 100 plus fish. it was a great time, once we moved.
    City: Bakersfield

Tips: Same as before!!! But generally it looks like they like it in warmer water.

    Good LUCK!!!!

    Water Temp: Warm

Water Clarity: Stained (2-4 foot visibility)

Report: Had an awesome day. Got out there around 9:00 a.m. with 4 other friends. We left at 11:00 a.m. with 123 crappies. It was a great Day. Sorry for the late post.
    City: Isabella

Tips: They are under the rocks and about 5 to 10 feet from shore. It was easier to jig the jig (white) around rocks right in front of you. You can see them come out from under the rocks and bite. There are big ones!!!

    Water Temp: Cool

Water Clarity: Stained (2-4 foot visibility)

Report: I went out at night because my bro-in-law said crappie bite best at night. It was okay. We got there at around 9 p.m. and by 10:30 we only caught about 15 crappie each. From 10:30 to 11:30 it was really slow. Maybe about 3 or so each. Just using a red jig with a white tail. The daytime seems to be better. Oh, the biggest one I caught was about 1 pound. Not really huge, but I did see someone come to the bait shop just before I got there. This person caught a 3 1/2 pounder. Awesome! hehe... Well, I'll be back out there soon (Daytime!)
    City: Bakersfield

Tips: At nite, use a jig with no bobber. Let it sit on the ground for a few secs and real. Repeat it. They seem to bite when it is still, but need the movement to get there.

In the day, use a bobber and leave about 18 inches of a drop.
