    Water Temp: 55

Water Clarity: Stained (2-4 foot visibility)

Report: gorgeous day to be in such a beautiful place, saw a gigantic bald eagle fishing. We did better than he did though. We hammered them shallow on creature baits under any shady dock we could find. The best 5 went #32. Lost one at the boat that was every bit of #12. It hurt but still a #66 ten fish limit this week makes me giggle like a schoolgirl.

    Water Temp: 76

Water Clarity: Clear (4+ foot visibility)

Report: We got out late about 6:00 pm. Dan caught one early on and then it died for about 3 hours. About 9:00 it opened up and we caught about 15 fish mostly on cb's. a couple on shaky heads one on a spook. Only 1 small fish (2#).
Three fish were right at #6 each, and we had a few #5 fish. Close to a 28 pound limit for the evening.
    City: auburn

Tips: slow rolling a dark CB in skinny water seemed to work best tonight. Only 2 fish hit topwater tonight and one of those was a bluegill about 2 inches that hit a spook.

    Water Temp: 76

Water Clarity: Clear (4+ foot visibility)

Report: a surprisingly good day considering they poisoned the lake again last week to kill the weeds. There were still quite a few weeds, and the poison didn't do a thing to the coontail grass. Dan got 2 good ones right off the bat on a dark buzzbait, and that was all she wrote for him, although he did lose two on a dark cb later. I Caught most of mine on a black and red cb. 2 that were #5 each, a #4, and a couple of three's. The big fish ate a hardnose in a foot of water, and it weighed over #7.

Tips: Darker colors seem to be the ticket today which was strange seeing how it was overcast most of the day.

    Water Temp: 59

Water Clarity: Stained (2-4 foot visibility)

Report: My partner Dan and I went out between rain storms for 5 hours last night. Dan caught one while I was parking the truck, and then caught another a few cast later on of all things... a buzzbait believe it or not. The next thing he caught was me. Right on the head. , but it could have been worse. Things picked up at dusk and we boated 25 total with the biggest going #6 and we had a ton of #4 & #5"s.
I caught mine on c.b.'s and mag jerkbaits. dans mostly came on the buzzbait or c.b., but he did get one I missed on a senko. we had doubles twice once it got started. About 9:00p.m. the skies opened up again and we bailed.

Tips: No rhyme or reason to location. We caught em in thin water and thick. they did want darker colors though.

    Water Temp: 74-76

Water Clarity: Clear (4+ foot visibility)

    Report: on the water at 6 a.m. a 21# 5 fish limit by 6:30.
The fish were tight to the shore, and roaming the bays. caught one about 6 on a chatterbait, and a bunch on a buzzbait. We got some on a beaver, and a few on crankbaits. The fishing went downhill when the sun hit the water... as expected for a 100 degree day. We were off the water by 10 and probably caught 15 fish, most of those early.

    Water Temp: 77

Water Clarity: Clear (4+ foot visibility)

Report: My partner Dan and I got out earlier than usual and were on the water before sun up. We started catching them immediately on spinnerbaits, buzzbaits, and a chatterbaits in dark colors. When the sun hit the water we went to the deep water points. A #6 hog sucked in a black beaver a few feet from shore on the fall and broke Dans net when he tried to nab it, but we wrestled it into the boat. We picked up a few more stragglers junk fishing. The fish were still stacked in the 13 ft. depth (the edge of the weed lines) and we started cranking over them with kermits squeeze so that they would just hit the top of the submerged grass. It ticked off the bigger bass and we boated 2 more fish in the 6 pound range, plus several quality fish. Then.... the water skiers came out and we called it a day.
    City: auburn

Tips: Slow didnt excite them at all today. The faster the better, and a couple small fish came when we were ripping the baits back in for the next cast.

    Water Temp: 77-80

Water Clarity: Clear (4+ foot visibility)

Report: we caught more than a dozen fish in the early moring hours. Some on jigs, some on crankbaits, and some on a strike king red eye in shad colors. they kill that bait all year long.
    City: auburn

Tips: We caught some deep but whenever we hit the 13 ft. depth the fish alarm would beep continuously.
The big fish came next to the shoreline though.
The fishing died at 10:00 a.m.

    Water Temp: 84-88

Water Clarity: Clear (4+ foot visibility)

Report: we could do no wrong tonight. We fished about 4 hours and we lost count. we caught them on just about everything we threw. The water was hot in places and the fish were tight to shore where you wouldnt expect them. Some small fish came deep but the really huge hogs were in the last foot of water.
Killer b"s, water dogs, and ramon's took alot but the homemade thingys kicked butt again.
    City: auburn

Tips: All the fish we caught over 6 pounds came on reaction baits.
Last week was tough, this week incredible. This lake is strange.

    Water Temp: 75

Water Clarity: Clear (4+ foot visibility)

Report: fished the evening bite with my buddy Dan.
We caught a few early on with flukes and c.b.'s, but most of the bigger fish came around midnight on a pale cordell, on back to back to back to back cast We finally caught some very small fish out of this lake.... but the best 5 went close to #20. Probably close to 30 fish total.
    City: auburn

Tips: The weeds are hit and miss through out the lake. Throw something that you can run slowly just over the top of them. A rattletrap seems to move to fast to keep it in the zone for em, and jerkbaits haven't gotten me any big fish yet.

    Water Temp: 75

Water Clarity: Clear (4+ foot visibility)

Report: 9 fish in 5 hours night fishing. The lake received more pressure this holiday weekend than it has in a year, plus they poisoned the lake for weeds last week. most fish came on a ramon big o... or C.B.
My buddy broke off big fish like they were 1 night stands. The fishing got great in spurts, and sections. big 5 went 20#
    City: auburn

Tips: If your going to fish here, bring at least 12# line... unless you don't want them in the boat.
If your night fishing why not throw 20?... they cant see it.
where we could find deep water next to shallow the fish were stacked, and we had doubles twice.

    Water Temp: 43-48

Water Clarity: Stained (2-4 foot visibility)

Report: Much better day today. My bud Dan nailed one about #5 on a chatterbait right off, and then we caught 7 over the next 4 hours.
The largest was 6.4 We had no small fish today.
Almost all came on either blades or a chatter in a couple feet of water. A freezing cold northern wind was blowing and the protected coves held the fish.
    Probably a #23 limit.

Tips: the warmer water is where they were today

Report: A zero, skunked, zip, zilch, nada.
I fished hard and quietly for 8 hours and could not get a fish in the boat. I only had one bite I'm sure was a fish. Bluebird skies 70 degrees and cold water made for a tough day. I did see a pair of bald eagles chasing each other all day. Still it beats work.
    City: auburn

Tips: Dont do what I was doing. I tried everything, deadsticking senkos, grubs, jigs. jigs and pigs tried dartheading, spoons, tubes, ripbaits, spinnerbaits, buzzbaits, swimbaits, chatterbaits traps(speed and rattle), flukes, and spooks, dropshotting, Tried brush hogs, and frogs, tried Logs, Tried shallow, deep, flats, grass, mats, docks, rocks, cattails, tules, buoys, aerators, the dam, the launch and everywhere in between.
