I have also caught around 10 smallmouth out of Kellys Slough and im sure thats not all of them, I never knew there were smallmouth in there but several of them were right at 2lbs..They are talking about taking out Gold Ray Dam, I wonder if the smallmouth will take over the Rogue like they did the Umpqua

Report: I totally agree with you guys lost creek used to be a great largemouth lake with some nice ones in it and it seemed as though it was making a recovery but those spots will be incredibly hard to control.

Water Clarity: Muddy (0-2 foot visibility)

Report: The spots need to go and so does the idiot who put them in there. They are just gonna screw the lake up even more than it already is. I say catch a spot, murder it. They will take over and even if there is a small chance the large mouth could make a come back it wont happen with the spots in there.

    Water Temp: 69-70

Water Clarity: Stained (2-4 foot visibility)

Report: the fishing was good got about 50-60 smallies and the spots are starting to show up more ya spotted bass in oregon there here, illegally introduced in lost creek not sure wether to think its a bad thing or a good thing...two in two trips both by the marina on crankbaits both juvenile under 10 inches, dont worry about the credibility of the spots had them certified with odfw outside central point and they were 100 percent.got most of the fish on tubes an hula grubs a few on shad rap rapalas parrelleling the bank and a few better ones on spooks later in the day
    City: central point

Tips: catch and release...odfw pushes killing the spotted bass personally i think that they will be fun in the next few years once they get mature, but they could end up like the smallmouth up there and have a million juvenile smallmouth then a few good ones mixed in write what you think should be done about the spots in a report i would like to know what the southern oregon bass anglers think about it?

Report: got on the water lake around 12:00 until about 3:00, we got about 25 fish in the boat most dinks with a couple good ones mixed in.the biggest fish only around 2 lb. we fished above th bridge mostly there were a lot of skiers and annoying ski doos running up and down the main lake we used tubes, shakeyheads, darter heads, crakbaits, spinnerbaits, and a popper ever once in a while in a shade pocket. but most of the fish were around 10-15ft deep and almost all smallmouth with 2 or 3 largemouth mixed in all small.....all fish released
    City: central point

Tips: if your gonna go go early it was about 95 today at the lake not much better than in the valley and its getting hotter...:(

also fished emigrant for a few hours saturday it wasnt much to bragg about only boated a few dinks and had to deal with skiers the whole time.emigrants water temp was about 77..

    Water Temp: 45-47

Water Clarity: Stained (2-4 foot visibility)

Report: Went out for 2 hours with no luck, but I wanted to thank western bass for coming through on their promise to add lakes like lost creek. Southern Oregon fishermen including myself appreciate the improvements to this site.
    City: central point, oregon

Tips: I graphed fish holding on the bottom from 25-50 ft. deep. They were not schooled up at all, I would graph 1 or 2 in an area and that was it.
