Report: day two at pinto....caught 7 bass off the cement docks again...3 caught on white spinner bait and 4 caught with a brown brush hog..texas rigged..
    City: salinas

Tips: if your gonna fish off the cement docks..then the best advice i can give you is to cast any plastic lure as close as you can to the boat dock..seems to be where most of the fish are hiding

Water Clarity: Muddy (0-2 foot visibility)

Report: fished off the cement docks, caught 5 bass...3 small bass bout a pound each....caught two nice ones about 2-3 pounds. all bass caught on spinner baits
    City: salinas

Tips: worms and jigs seem to be only working if you have a boat to go out into the lake, but neither of those baits work around the docks..try fishing spinner baits...seems to be the only thing working..cast out far and let it sink to the bottom then slowly reel the spinner bait, draggin it along the bottom

Report: Fished from 8am to 11:30. Water was stained. No bites until the sun popped through which was about 10:30am. Had 2 semi hook ups near the Northern most island, which I lost both on the way to the boat. Then at the Southern most island I landed a chunky 5lber from the tully line on a jig.
    City: San Jose

Tips: none, was my first trip there.

    Water Temp: 74

Water Clarity: Stained (2-4 foot visibility)

Report: Hadn't seen a report on this Lake for a long time, so decided to go and make one myself. Caught 5.
2 dinks on a white buzz bait in the early morning. The rest on a 4" weightless Senko in watermelon and black and red flake. The largest was an even 2#. All fish caught tight up against the bank in heavy cover.
    City: Monterey

Tips: Tried a black and blue jig with a blue trailer without success. Next time I'd try a black and blue
jig with a dark trailer with red flake based on how they inhaled the Senko.

Water Clarity: Clear (4+ foot visibility)

Report: launched at 930 went strait to the "narrows" or channels in the back. Met a cool dude named Scott there and he was slayin' them for pinto's standards. Ended up hangin with him and pullin in 2 up the 3.5 lbs. Scott had 5 good tourney fish right around 14 lbs for the 5. I think we "might" have found a pattern here but I'm not sure....
    City: Watsonville, Ca

Tips: persistance is key. I have visited this local lake here in watsonville over 15 times in the last 10 months and have yet to get on a pattern that will last. Thrown everything and done laps around the lake with little luck.
