Report: Went in a buddies boat at first light. Stuck one over 4 pounds on a chartruse buzzbait on my second cast. Moved along. We caught 4 on senkos...Faded watermelon purple flake. Around noon my partner gets a 3 pounder on a lavender shad BBZ-1 and three casts after that I caught it's sister on the same weedline break on an all white buzzbait. Around 2:00 I hooked another buzzbait fish but my hand sliped off the rod and I wound my finger into the levelwind gearing....By the time I got myself un clustered It was gone....Same size fish as the previous...about 3 pounds. We moved in behind all of the anchored boats and caught one more on a senko before I had my frog blown sky high with a spectacular miss. Off the water at 3:00

So I broke out a Ima Skimmer I got from the U.S.Open and it was on, I caught 10 bass on this bait until noon. My biggest bass was about 2.8 and I did see one angler get on on a white spinnerbait. So a good day from the shore. tight lines, Chief

    Water Temp: 65-70

Water Clarity: Clear (4+ foot visibility)

Report: Great looking conditons but a tuogh bite. Found 1 fish late deep (20 ft.) on an inside point. Found more, and larger fish in the backs of coves, especially if there was a creek channel. Another angler put me on to this as the smaller fish are chasing fry. Didn't see any bedding fish. Practically no wind all day until about 2:30 and then only a moderate s.w. breeze. Still lots of debris in the water.

Tips: Fish in the backs of coves wanted a light colored swimming grub or wham-type lure. Not many anglers out, which might have been a clue. Conditions looked ideal but the bite wasn't.

    Water Temp: 55-60

Water Clarity: Clear (4+ foot visibility)

Report: Metered a few fish on points but couldn't get anything to bite on drop shots or texas rig worms. Water was clear, with some surface debris, all over the lake. Around 3:30 I went all the way to the back of Cow Cove and found fish in 3-5 feet of 60 degree water. As soon as you put a bait in from of them they went straight for the brush. Tried soft plastic jerk baits and Senko's with no success. I give this about another week until the water warms up a little more, then things should pick up. Saw several other bass boats also not catching fish.

Tips: Look in the backs of the coves for the warmest water. Boat inspections are easy but be sure to have everything clean and dry. Be careful driving the lake. Still some surface debris, including some big logs.

    Water Temp: 78

Water Clarity: Stained (2-4 foot visibility)

Report: Well, I got to the lake at 3:00 for a Sunday afternoon session and it was SUPER windy. Fished up the narrows first thing but got absolutely nothing. Then moved to the eastern coves and proceeded to get 9 (honestly 1 pounders at best). Overall, it was a tough day, but I'm happy with 9, especially considering the hot and windy conditions.
    City: Moorpark

Tips: Fish slow-moving baits... At least for me, the reaction bite was non-existent. And whenever possible, fish rocky/shaded spots. That's where I had the most luck yesterday.

Report: Got out on the water about 7:45 this morning. Wind was kicking ass from several directions pushing my little Nitro all over. Managed to get 2 on tubes on the first 2 points on the right side entering Santa Felicia. Got tired of running the trolling motor constantly to keep the boat straight. Decided to drag Normans around the shoreline instead of fighting the wind and found 4 more on the east side by the entrance to the narrows. All fish were about 1.5lbs nothing big. Very suprising that there was not alot more "Lake Lice" with the hot temps. It wasn't a bad day but not as great as it has been.
