Report: I went to Shadow to see if there were any spawners up yet and there were a few but not any big numbers yet. I did see a few about 7-9 lbs but no real big ones today. I also could not get them to eat anything. After the next storm I think there should be some good numbers of fish up on beds.

Report: I wanted to go to Vaqueros (much more luck there) but it was too windy. Caught two bass in Arroyo back pond around 8 and 11am. One on a sunfish colored crank and the other on a night crawler. Seen about 4 nice ones swimming around, but they weren't hungry. Both were caught off the bank in one of the small coves.
    City: San Ramon

Tips: Go early. Watch out for all the dogs and snakes. Vaqueros is better.

Report: Fished from 1PM to 5PM today. It was a slow afternoon, and the fish only appeared to get active when the clouds came by for about a half hour or so while it cooled off a bit, then the lake became dead again when the sun reappeared. I caught one 2 lbs largemouth during this period, on a green/watermelon Texas-rigged lizard, halfway along the north side of the Island Pond.
    City: Livermore, CA

Tips: I'm gonna try fishing a full day on Thu at the Arroyo Pond, see how the bite is really early and really late.

Report: Fished the Island Pond until noon today on my float tube, but there was no action. Tried a couple texas-rigged power worms and a black spinnerbait, but no takers. It was really cloudy and cold out this morning, with an unconsistant breeze. This was my fist time back in a while though, and there's a lot of weeds in the water now too.

Tips: Next time I'm going to try some frogs and buzzbaits above the weeds, and give worms a try again (texas-rigged roboworms, and try some drop-shotting along the northern side).

Report: Wow..I miss this place alot ever since I got pissed while I was tubing in the back lake. This is the very first lake that I learned bass fishing. Good luck to you all this is a great lake to tube in the back ponds. I never got skunk with a tube back there. Maybe I should find a time to go back to tube there. Been very busy with my new bass boat. LOL
    City: Fremont

Tips: Make sure dump the poor bass back into the POND. Its small ponds with good fish in there, don't ever let it stop. Maybe I'll see you all in the water sometimes. Favorite technique is dropshot and wacky senko. YOU NEED TO PITCH IN TO THE TOUGHEST SPOT TO FIND THEM WHEN FISHING IS SLOW.
