    Water Temp: 63

Water Clarity: Stained (2-4 foot visibility)

Report: So a few weeks ago, this lake was at 73 degrees and now all the way down to 63. The lake has also lowered very quickly, so rain is needed.

Most of the fish are schooled in the deep holes but I did find one keeper off a point but that was my only bite and fish for the day.

    Again, better than working.

    Tips: Crank Away!!!

    Water Temp: Warm

Water Clarity: Muddy (0-2 foot visibility)

Report: Went out around noon, just walking around lake. First fish was a fat little guy off the lifeguard dock (What I call the "U" dock) no bigger than 9 or 10 inches, but pretty chubby. Caught it on a texas rigged 7" MM Roboworm. Then long casted a chartreuse "tail-spinner" towards the rental boat "pilings" with a steady-fast retrieve and hooked a nice 2.5-3.5 pounder that kicked off the crappy treble hook about a foot from shore and swam off. I followed that with it's baby that was barely big enough to eat the bait. The guy next to me was fly fishing and pulling in crappie after crappie, starting the fly about 10 feet off the shore in the sun and working it back to the shade; he would get the bite shortly after the fly passed from sun to shade.
    City: Rohnert Park

Tips: First off, get on the water if you can... Otherwise look for structure with access to deepish water and that provides shade (docks, over hanging limbs/bushes, etc). Try to cast under it or just on the outside.

PS: I have an 11 ft inflatable raft (with floor boards, and soon to have a trolling motor) and I am looking for new fishing partners. Send me an email and tell me a little bit about yourself if you want to go fishing sometime.
