Miramar
Lake Miramar is located at an elevation of 714 feet approximately 18 miles north of San Diego . It has 557 maximum surface acres.
The lake is open Saturday through Tuesday 11 months a year, closed in October.here is a boat ramp available for private boats, $5.00 launch fee. Motorboats are available for $32.00/day, rowboats are also available for $12.00/day. There is a picnic area and snack bar and bait and tackle are available at the lake. The estimated bass population of Miramar is over 5,000 bass, a high number for such a tiny lake. But they are extremely well feed bass. Stocked trout and threadfin shad are available as prime forage. Directions: From Interstate 15 proceed east on Mira Mesa Boulevard, turn south on Scripps Ranch Boulevard, then east on Scripps Lake Drive to the resevoir entrance.
