I fished the river arm on Lake Tulloch on Sunday.
The circus had come to town, but the river is all 5mph, so didn't have any traffic to speak of. Caught a few smallmouth, and a couple spots. Colder water made for one of the better fishing days this year for me.
The trip back to load the boat reminded me of why I never fish these crazy holiday weekends.

Report: fished full day at the north end. Day started out calm but by mid morning the wind picked up and it was windy the rest of the day until evening. Fished flats and rocks tough day. Caught 2 smallies and 1 largemouth. 2 fish came on top water Zora Spook. Lost a nice one on the Zora Spook and had a few other swirles. Lost a nice one that I could not get to the surface on a swim bait. Could not see fish in the shallows due to the wind.
