    Water Temp: 84

Water Clarity: Muddy (0-2 foot visibility)

Report: Decided to try Elsinore as I haven't been there in years. Like George Kramer stated this lake is alive and well. I took my teenage daughter with me and she had a field day. It was WFO for sure. My daughter used a Lucky Craft Ghost Lime Chartreuse crank and I was using Texas rigged Roboworm MM. I guess any plastic worm in purple would have worked. we caught about 60 fish with the biggest going around 4 LBS. and the average was 2LBS. We had a blast.

    Tips: Listen to George.

    Water Temp: 82

Water Clarity: Stained (2-4 foot visibility)

Report: Saturday traffic no problem on a windless day. First 15 minutes produced three largemouths, 2 wipers, 2 catfish and a crappie all on crankbaits. As it turned out, the best bait, since the fish were all in less than 7 feet, were Jackall's lipless model. (What's that thing called, Brian?)

But chartreuse spinnerbaits, Texas-rigged plum C-Tails and shad single tail grubs got bit almost every other cast in the cover. Landed 35 by lunch time. (Don't want to admit missing nearly that many). Top fish went 4-1, and several cracked three pounds, but 13-inch fish were still dominant. Top hybrid was a 6 pounder--yikes!

Heavy brush and deep fences at north end seemed better. Safer on your hull than the fences on the west shore. Fish are both inside and outside in thick brush edges or submerged marina ledges.
    City: Lake Elsinore

Tips: They should delete all the old reports about Elsinore. They don't represent this aerated natural lake as it is today.

Go early when the temperature is cooler. If you're not getting bit, check your knot. You might not have anything tied on. (Actually, keep moving, fish seem to be on the clouds of bait). Ignore the carp splashing.

Water Clarity: Muddy (0-2 foot visibility)

Report: Caught five bass today between me and a freind. useing plastic/rubber worms. Casting around brush in the channel, letting worm drop on the bottom and keeping it there. Four were good size abot 2-3 lbs. each.
    City: Lake Elsinore

Tips: Good bass action in channel. After 3:00 fish bite good. Not too much luck in the morning.

Water Clarity: Stained (2-4 foot visibility)

Report: Slow bass action. Good action on carp and catish near the outhouse. Good bite on hotdogs and dough baits early and late in the evening. But watch out because the catish aren't the only things that bite at night around Elsinore.
