    Water Temp: 62

Water Clarity: Clear (4+ foot visibility)

Report: Windy, but good day of fun fishing. Found several nice fish still on beds, and got a few good fish out of the trees near the bridge. Jackall green pumpkin and watermelon Flickshake worms dropshoting, and pitched four inch Covercraw in the trees. Biggest fish was five pounds even, best five were about sixteen pounds.
    City: Sun City

Tips: If you sight fish, check the area right next to the boat ramp and in the narrows No Wake area. Or pitch the Jackal Covercraw or your favorite bait in the middle of the deeper trees, and deadstick it for a while. Slow down and really look and you will see fish cruising shallow.

    Water Temp: 50-60

Water Clarity: Clear (4+ foot visibility)

Report: i went to hodges bout 5:30 in the moring and hooked up with two nice lunkers they were 3.2 and 3.5 the lake was slow or what i usally catch. there is also a pond right next to there lake back bt the rancho brenado arm you have to walk a little but its worth it. You can ask most kid ishermen orm the area bout it the name o the pond i rb inn. you avaraghe a 2-3 pounder. i went there last night bout 5:30 till 6:30 and hooked up with 12 bass between me and my best riend we cought them on red with christmas sparkles poured by george at poway bait and tackle.we rigged them texas style with a 3/16 bullet weight so i you ever get the chance to go there you should.
    City: poway

Tips: since it is winter you need to ish slow because you want the bait to be in the strike zone as long as possible. be prepared to wait these bass can be iniky but not always, you should start out with chocolate/blue vein rigged texas style then move to a dark red and i that doesnt work go lighter in color on your plastic. some crankbaits are working too but only a ew, rapala at rap is doing were in shad color and the rebel crawdad cranks are workin well too we.. the main key is to ish the points ajasent to deep water. also ish the main strcture o the pond or lake these keys will help you

    Water Temp: 55-62

Water Clarity: Clear (4+ foot visibility)

Report: Surace temp o 62 dropped quickly to 55-58 below the surace. This was the day beore the ull moon. Many boats on the lake -- most ishing very shallow or right at the shoreline. I didn't see anyone catching anything on that pattern, so I assumed all the ishing and boat activity in the shallows would push the ish back out to the staging areas. That's where I concentrated my eorts. Thoroughly ished areas rom 5' to 40' on north end o lake (warmest water, and along west side o saddle point -- but to no avail. Bottom line: I didn't ind'em and I didn't see anybody else doing so either.
    City: Monterey, CA

Tips: No action on Power Pulse worms, Fin-S-Shad, jig-n-craw, cranks (shad and crawish), or spinnerbaits, all ished slowly due to cold water. No bites on a stitchin' presentation, either. Very rustrating day, because the big emales should have been (and probably were, somewhere) on a eeding binge prepping or the spawn (..or maybe they were tuckered out rom a night o mating, and recuperating out in the really deep channels.)
