Camp Far West Lake is located at an elevation of 320 feet in the Sierra Foothills northeast of Roseville.

It has 2,000 surface acres and 29 miles of shoreline.

Be warned of the rocky area in the north west section of the main body. The water level normally is low in late summer.

Facilities include a snack bar, grocery store, marina, boat rentals, campgrounds, game room, gas, propane and disposal station.
