Big Bear California

Big Bear Lake is located at an elevation of 6,743 feet in the . It has 3,000 surface acres and has 22 miles of shoreline. The lake is controlled by the Big Bear Municipal Water District and is in the San Bernardino National Forest.

The USDA Forest Service has several campgrounds with hundreds of campsites for tent and RV camping, some with full hook-ups. There is also remote area camping available, adventure pass required.

Boats are subject to maximum length of 26 feet, no problem ...
