MINNEAPOLIS (March 23, 2004) — Coming April 11 on “FLW Outdoors,” veteran pro angler Larry Nixon will take a look back at the third event of the 2004 Wal-Mart FLW Tour season, which was held on Tennessee’s Old Hickory Lake and presented by Snickers. The event concluded March 13 under challenging conditions. Nixon will find out how the top pros caught their fish, including event winner and Team Kellogg’s pro Dave Lefebre of Erie, Pa.; Dion Hibdon of Stover, Mo., who placed second; and Greg Hackney of Gonzales, La., who came in fourth, landing his first top-10 finish in an FLW Tour event.
Additional guests include pros Marcel Veenstra of Brighton, Mich., Rick Clunn of Ava, Mo., and George Cochran of Hot Springs, Ark. Veenstra, who earned his first career FLW Tour top 10 on Old Hickory, lets the crew tag along with him during the final day of the tournament. The legendary Clunn, one of the foremost crankbait experts in the sport of bass fishing, shares the finer points of fishing with his favorite lures. Cochran also hands out tips on his specialty, shallow-water fishing.
