DALLAS (July 6, 2004) - Listen to "FLW Outdoors Presented by Wal-Mart" online or on the air this Sunday when hosts Keith Lebowitz and Tony Casillas interview Minnesota Vikings wide receiver Randy Moss. Talking about the FLW Tour Championship slated for Aug. 11-14 on Alabama's Logan Martin Lake is Team Tyson pro John Crews of Jetersville, Va., who qualified for the event as the No. 13 seed. Rounding out the guest list is regular guest and Ranger pro-staff guide David Vance.
Moss, who began his professional football career with the Vikings in 1998 and has been setting records ever since, will talk about the upcoming football season and his team's plan to make a Super Bowl appearance. The pro standout will also share with listeners some of his outdoor adventures on the water. Moss' tenure with the Vikings has been marked by many league records: the NFL's most catches in a player's first six seasons with 525, the NFL's only wide receiver to record 1,000-yard seasons in his first six seasons, and the NFL's record for most receiving yards in a player's first six seasons for a total of 8,375 yards.
Crews, who has earned more than $115,000 and has had five top-10 finishes in FLW Outdoors events, will make his second FLW Tour Championship appearance in August. He will talk about how he plans to practice in the weeks prior to the event and about how it would feel to take home the $500,000 top prize. Vance, known as one of the best guides in Texas, will also talk about the best places to fish in Texas during the hot summer days.
"FLW Outdoors Presented by Wal-Mart" is broadcast throughout Texas and parts of Oklahoma every Sunday from 10-11 a.m. Central time and is rebroadcast every Monday from midnight-1 a.m. on 105.3 FM in Dallas.
