San Dimas (Aug. 10, 2004) — NATIONAL BASS WEST, Inc. today announced the expansion of their tournament trails to Northern California for the 2005 season.
A six tournament Delta Team Region is set to start at the beginning of 2005, capped by a championship tournament. Details on that championship event are coming in the weeks to come.
Set to run the region are veteran Tournament Directors, Alton Forthe and his wife Lynda Forthe, who also co-own and operate bigfishtools.com, a web design firm that builds fishing related and non-related web sites.
Fishing is a family affair for the Forthe’s. Says Lynda, “Our youngest son, Steven helps with all our tournaments. We’ve lived in six states and yes, we’ve fished in every one and more”.
It should be a great year in the Delta Region for all concerned. As Alton tells it, “We have a blast running tournaments. We work hard and we have fun together and with our anglers and spectators. We look forward to this coming season”.
Here is the first season schedule for the NATIONAL BASS WEST, Inc. Delta Region: February 5, March 5, April 17, May 15, June 5, July 17, 2005. All events are set to launch out of Big Break Marina. Sign Up and check in for the events will take place at Extreme Angler 1625 Main Street in Oakley, just down the road from the marina.
