MONTGOMERY, Ala. – Officials from BASS, the worldwide authority on bass fishing, and Busch Beer, the official beer of BASS, announced Tuesday that the $160,000 Busch Shootout tournament, which was to be held at a mystery location on Sept. 18, will be rescheduled due to Hurricane Ivan.

“Hurricane Ivan is expected to greatly affect air travel,” said BASS Tournament Director Trip Weldon. “The threat of flight delays and possible cancellations result in continuing logistics difficulties for everyone involved with the Busch Shootout and has resulted in a postponement of the event.”

The Shootout will be rescheduled at a later date to be determined.
