The 2004/2005 season opener of the WON Bass Motherlode Region Team Tournaments is just over a month away. Lake McClure will host the kick off event at the Barrett Cove launch area. 2 time Anglers of the Year Kyle and Anthony Rasmussen will attempt a 3 peat this season. Fresh off a 5th place showing at the WON Team Championships at Lake Shasta these guys are ready to go.
Even with the low water conditions,Lake McClure continues to provide consistent fishing action for Spotted Bass. With cooler tempuatures just around the corner look for the bite to get even better as we move toward winter.
New this year in the Motherlode Region is the addition of more options and the removal of any late fees. We are offering the following options for the 04/05 season: Big Fish, Top 3, Top 5, All American, 3 Pound, Winner take all.
New regional sponsors will be providing some giveaway product this season as well. Those regional sponsors include, Baits Inc., Andy's Jigs, Fisherman's Eyewear, Kick N Bass and more to come.
