FLW OUTDOORS RADIO VISITS WITH BEST FRIENDS CHRIS MCCALL, HARMON DAVIS

“Bachelor” castoff Heather Cranford speaks about her experience with FLW Tour pro Byron Velvick

DALLAS (Oct. 8, 2004) — The topics of this week’s edition of “FLW Outdoors presented by Wal-Mart” range from bass fishing to searching for soul mates, thanks to a lively mix of guests. Host Keith Lebowitz is joined by Wal-Mart FLW Tour pros Chris McCall and Harmon Davis as well as Heather Cranford of ABC’s hit show “The Bachelor.” “FLW Outdoors” is broadcast live from Dallas on Saturday and made available Wednesday on FLWOutdoors.com.

A native of Jasper, McCall has earned more than $130,000 in 43 FLW Outdoors events since 1996. He’s fished the Wal-Mart FLW Tour, the EverStart Series, the Wal-Mart Bass Fishing League and the Wal-Mart Texas Tournament Trail and has eight career top-10 finishes.

McCall's best friend, Davis, is also a veteran bass fisherman who lives in Marlow, Okla. In June 2001, Davis held off McCall to claim first place in the Pro Division of the EverStart Series Central Division tournament on Lake Ferguson, marking Davis’ first tournament victory. Davis has fished in 68 tournaments since 1995, earning more than $150,000 along the way. Davis and McCall will discuss the past FLW Tour season with Lebowitz and will also add insight on the upcoming 2005 season.

This past week, Texas native Cranford made a surprise reappearance on “The Bachelor,” which features FLW Tour pro Byron Velvick. Cranford originally appeared in season two of “The Bachelor,” and having not been picked the first time around, she agreed to take a second chance at love. She arrived on the third episode of the show as Velvick’s mystery date but was once again not given a rose. She will speak this week on “FLW Outdoors” about her time spent with Velvick.

“FLW Outdoors Presented by Wal-Mart” is broadcast throughout Texas and parts of Oklahoma every Sunday from 10-11 a.m. Central time and is rebroadcast every Monday from midnight-1 a.m. on 105.3 FM in Dallas.
