Schedule of Events
Wednesday, May 4
Registration – 3:00 to 5:30 p.m., Jasper High School Auditorium, 400 Bulldog Avenue, Jasper, Texas.
Tournament Briefing – 6:30 p.m., Jasper High School Gymnasium, 400 Bulldog Avenue, Jasper, Texas.

Thursday, May 5
Check-out and weigh-in times will be announced at the Tournament Briefing. Contestants will go out in flights. Flights and check-in times will be staggered to give each contestant equal fishing time.

Friday, May 6
Tournament fishing schedule will be posted at weigh-in Thursday. Top 50 boaters and top 50 non-boaters fishing on Saturday will be announced.

Saturday, May 7
Final awards presentation will be held at the weigh-in site.

Open Format
Both boaters and non-boaters participate in CITGO Bassmaster Open tournaments. After two days of fishing, the top 50 boaters and top 50 non-boaters will continue to fish on Saturday. After Saturday’s round, boater and non-boater champions will be crowned.

At the end of the three-event Central Open season, the top 25 boaters in the points standings will qualify for the 2005 CITGO Bassmaster Open Championship. The top 30 will earn Tour cards to fish as pros on the 2006 Tour.

Similarly, the top 25 non-boaters in the points standings will qualify for 2005 CITGO Bassmaster Open Championship.

The top five anglers in the 2005 CITGO Bassmaster Open Championship qualify for the 2006 CITGO Bassmaster Classic.
