Well, the Rossetti"s (John and Lorenze) blew past everyone with a winning weight of only 34 lbs 6 ozs. (har har) and their big fish was only 6 lbs 15 ozs. They have the early fall pattern locked in. Lorenzo said that they hit over 30 different places to catch their fish, and the better fish came on jigs.
2nd place went to Doug Romano and Jason Cordiale with 29 lbs 12 ozs. they also had 2nd big fish of 7 lbs 3 ozs. 3rd was Bill Jeffers and Curt Dowhower with 21 lbs 13 ozs. 4th with 21 lbs was Jim Machado and George Wight, they also had big fish for the tournament of 7 lbs. 13 ozs.
The pattern that most of the fishermen used was fish a lot of spots and try everything, now thats a lot of help.
If you haven't signed up yet on October 1 will be the second annual Outdoor Sportsmans supper team tournament. If you sign up at the Outdoor Sportsman, you will be in the drawing for a total of $500 gift certificates in amounts of $50.00 to $100.00. The ramps at Ladds will be done by the(?) so well will have all three ramps open for use. And for those of you that have not been out to Ladds this summer, they have fixed the road from Brookside to the gate and it is now sooooooo smooooth all the way out.
