Stockton Bass winds down Season

Once the fog burned off it was a great day to fish, catching was the problem. Taking first place was Hose and Kevin Looper with 25 lbs. 14 ozs. and Kevin had big fish of 7 lbs 4 ozs.

Second place was Richard Myers and Westley Jones, even though they had a late start, it seems that Richard took time in the morning to wash out the inside of his boat, and had to come back to the launch ramp to drain the water out. with 21 lbs 3 ozs.

Third place was Mike Cato and Ken Mueller with 20 lbs 2 ozs. Fourth went to Jeff Berg and Aaron Buckholz with 16 lbs 1 oz. and in fifth place John Martin and Tony Serrano with 15 lbs 2 ozs.

A special congratulations to the team of Tim Venkus and Dwain King for taking Anglers of the Year.

This is the last year for me with Stockton Bass as I am retiring from doing tournaments, and plan on fishing some tournaments next year. After being a tournament director, first for the Federation then with Stockton Bass for the past 17 years I feel that its my time to enjoy the other side of tournament fishing. Stockton Bass will still be here with John Miller taking over, and I know that it will still be the low key fun type tournaments that you the fishermen have enjoyed for all these years.

You can go the the web page at www. StocktonBass.com and check out next years schedules.
