Future Pro Tour hosts “Top Club" Challenge

Adding another avenue of excitement to it’s 2006 season, the Future Pro Tour is announcing a new challenge for participants that also belong to one of the many bass clubs in northern California. The “Top Club Challenge” allows club members to participate in a separate challenge that pits each bass clubs performance during Future Pro Tour events against other bass clubs!

Here’s how it works:

As you register for the first FPT event of the season, you must declare which club you are affiliated with. A club can enter as many members as it wants to into the Top Club Challenge. The winner of the Top Club Challenge for each event will be determined by the heaviest total combined weight of the three highest finishing club members for each club, with a victory plaque going to the winning club.

At the end of the year the top three weights for each event, from each participating club will be totaled, and the club with the highest total weight for 7 events will be honored as Northern California’s “Top Club” for 2006. For their achievement, the “Top Club” will receive a beautiful perpetual trophy, a year-end, Future Pro Tour sponsored celebration dinner for it’s members, and a “club profile” article in the Fish Sniffer publication and the FPT website featuring information about the winning club!

The FPT respects and appreciates the contribution local clubs make to the bass fishing industry, and recognizes that each one plays a critical role in helping to develop the beginning to intermediate level angler. To this end, we hope that this challenge will help motivate club members and add further excitement to their tournament angling experience.

So make sure you “represent” and register for your club when you sign up for the 2006 Future Pro Tour season. You may be the one to help make your club the “Top Club” for 2006!

See you on the water!
