LAND O’LAKES EXPANDS ANGLER OF THE YEAR PROGRAM

New program includes AOY sponsorship spanning five tournament trails

MINNEAPOLIS (Feb. 16, 2007) — FLW Outdoors announced today an expansion of the Land O’Lakes Angler of the Year program with the nation’s No. 1 marketer of branded butter and deli cheese. New for 2007, the top tournament trails administered by FLW Outdoors will participate in the Land O’Lakes AOY program. The new agreement spans the Wal-Mart FLW Tour, both divisions of the Wal-Mart FLW Series, the Wal-Mart FLW Walleye Tour, the Wal-Mart FLW Kingfish Tour and both divisions of the Wal-Mart FLW Redfish Series.

Land O’Lakes has been at the helm of the FLW Tour Angler of the Year program, one of the most sought-after designations in all of professional fishing, since 1997. This prestigious honor annually goes to the tour’s best and most consistent angler.

The criteria for Land O’Lakes AOY across all five circuits will mirror the current criteria on the FLW Tour. The pro, or team, who accumulates the most points during the 2007 regular season will win AOY honors. Additional elements include specialized Land O’Lakes life jackets for the current leaders to wear during competition and a Land O’Lakes weigh-in bag in which the current leader transports his fish to the scale. The increased AOY sponsorship will enhance the Arden Hills, Minn., dairy producer’s coverage in all the FLW Outdoors media formats.
