ROCKLIN Ca. - The Future Pro Tour Tournament Trails is excited to announce its line up of incentives for anglers that will be participating in the 2007 season. A 7-event Tour that gives the beginning to intermediate level angler the opportunity to learn the fundamentals of bass fishing in a fun yet competitive environment, the Future Pro Tour is back, and better than ever with the goal of helping you to have the best tournament experience possible.
Some of the incentives lined up for 2007 are:
Future Pro Tour – TV Show on Comcast Sports Net
Several Future Pro Tour events – beginning with the Berryessa opener on March 24 th , will be aired on TV via the popular Comcast Sports Net. This is your opportunity to be part of all the excitement as your friends, family, and possible sponsors view you on TV doing what you do best. Get a haircut, polish up your rigs, and get those sponsor shirts ready for “showtime”! The event winners will be featured in a “Winner's Spotlight” section at the end of the show, and will be given the opportunity to show viewers the tackle and techniques they used to win the event.
The show will be aired on Comcast Sports Net the following Saturday, and re-aired during the following week, reaching over 700,000 viewers per broadcast.
Future Pro Tour – Sanctioned as an official BassFan Army Trail
As one of 21 officially sanctioned BassFan Army Trails, four (4) selected Future Pro Tour anglers will have the opportunity to fish at the 2008 BassFan Army Weekend Warrior Championship, which, in addition to being crowned the nation's best amateur level angler, the winners will receive a $25,000 – cash, first place prize. And get this…the rest of the field receives $800 just for qualifying and fishing the event! The Future Pro Tour will select it's qualifiers in the following manner: Angler's of the Year (both regions). More details about the selection process will be forthcoming.
Ranger Cup
Ranger ownership has always had its privileges. And even more so, for those owners that fish Future Pro Tour events. Any team that wins a FPT event and is a registered Ranger Cup participant receives $400 cash! The highest finishing team that is a registered Ranger Cup participant receives $200!
C&C Marine Bonus
Anyone that buys a new Ranger Boat from C&C Marine (Modesto or Citrus Heights), during the 2007 FPT season (March thru November) will receive a free FPT membership and entry fee into any Future Pro Tour event of their choice!
Angler of the Year bonuses
Up to $2,000 cash bonus for Anglers of the Year in each region and both divisions plus *limited product sponsorships in big boat division.

“Future” Future Pro Angler of the Year and participation bonuses
- Anglers of the Year
“Future” Future Pros fishing the Tour's northern region will receive a new mini 4-wheel drive ATV for their Angler of the Year award. “Future” Future Pro fishing the Tour's central region will receive a premium tackle pack which will include a Lamiglas rod, a reel, assorted premium baits, and a Plano “Flip It” tackle box.
- Participation bonuses
Every time a “Future Future Pro” participates in an event, their name will be entered into a drawing for a complete IBANEZ Tm “Rock and Roll” electric lead guitar package complete with amps, case, monster cables, straps – with one month's private music lessons included…. a package valued at over $1,000 courtesy of Skip's Music! The drawing for this prize will be held after the last event of the season, and FFP's in both regions will be eligible to win…. Rock On!
Also…on July 9 th we will hold a random drawing where two lucky “Future” Future Pro anglers will be chosen to receive FPT sponsored entries into the 2007 Pro-Teen event! The event is set for Sunday, July 15 th at Russo's Marina and is a ton of fun! Kids get a chance to fish the California Delta with a pro, get a participation trophy, and win some great prizes!
2007 FPT Classic bonus – for the small boat division
In addition to competing for the Future Pro Tour Classic's first prize -a fully rigged Ranger 188vs/Evinrude E-Tec package, anglers that qualified for the Classic via the small boat division, will also compete against each other for the” Ultimate Rigging Package”, a package put together to help Div I anglers update their small boat rigs. Only the small boat division teams will be eligible to win this package, and in the event the FPT Classic Ranger 188vs/Evinrude package is won by a small boat division participant, the “Ultimate Rigging Package” will be awarded to the next highest finishing small boat team.
The Ultimate Rigging Package will include:
One Minn Kota 60lb thrust trolling motor
One Minn Kota two-bank battery charger
One Humminbird 727 fish finder,
Two Plano “Flipsider” tackle boxes with assorted premium baits

Be one of the two highest finishing teams - that have at least one member wearing Costa Del Mar sunglasses and you will receive a free pair of Costa Del Mar sunglasses with custom lanyard!
