The PAA Corporate Cup presented by OPTIMA® Batteries is generating a lot of interest across the country via the Internet and word of mouth amongst anglers, fans and sponsors alike. The PAA offices have been receiving emails and phone calls as the event draws near; the event has received coverage of the event in
other countries who have received media distribution regarding the tournament.
One of the components of the PAA Corporate Cup presented by OPTIMA® Batteries’ reach is a set of billboards that will be placed around the local municipalities surrounding Pickwick Lake. The billboards will feature PAA Tour Members who will be participating in the event, set for October 9 – 11.
The billboards will feature Tour Members who compete on the Bassmaster Elite Series and FLW Tour. Imagine driving down the road and seeing some of the best anglers in the world displayed in larger than life form for hundreds of thousands of motorists and pedestrians to see.
Some of the anglers that will be featured on the billboards will be four time Toyota Tundra Bassmaster Angler Kevin VanDam, local favorite, and PAA President Tim Horton, Land o’ Lakes FLW Tour Angler of the Year David Dudley, past Bassmaster Classic and Forrest Wood Cup Champion Luke Clausen, as well as 2007 Bassmaster Classic Champion Boyd Duckett from Demopolis, Ala., 2006 Toyota Tundra Bassmaster Rookie of the Year Steve Kennedy of Auburn, Ala., along with FLW Tour pros Chad Morgenthaler of Coulterville, Ill. and Branden Coulter of Knoxville, Tenn.
These first samples of the billboards will allow fishing fans the world over to see them as well.
