Havasu, AZ - Shaun Bailey and Mike Rooke weighed in the big bags both days to win the Anglers Choice Region 2 Championship at Lake Havasu. The team managed the heaviest limit of the tournament on day two with their 21.08 pounds. Combined with the 19.82 pound limit from the prior day, their total weight of 40.90 pounds was good for a runaway victory and the 1st Place prize,a Legend LE 195 with Mercury 200 OptiMax.
In 2nd place was the consistent team of Shadric Berweger and George Provenza with a total weight of 36.65 pounds, each day's limit looked identical to the other proving the team was on good solid fish. There first day limit was anchored by a 7.55 pound big fish.
In 3rd place was Dale Delvin and James Hansen with a solid two day limit of 33.0 pounds.
There were 95 teams competing in the championship tournament.
