WFN: WORLD FISHING NETWORK DEBUTS DOCU-REALITY SERIES: THE LODGE

DENVER, CO. - FEBRUARY 4, 2010 - WFN: World Fishing Network, North America's only 24-hour fishing lifestyle network, announced today the premiere of its original docu-reality series, The Lodge, February 5, at 7pm, ET. The weekly 30-minute program, airing 13 episodes this season, highlights all the drama as friends are made, hearts are broken and business is not always as usual at the extravagant Queen Charlotte Lodge (QCL), located in a remote area of British Columbia. The Lodge will air every Friday at 7:00 pm ET.

QCL, a fly-in fishing lodge on the rich Pacific waters of Haida Gwaii, offers the ultimate sport fishing adventure with grounds legendary for their abundance of huge chrome Chinook salmon and bright silver Coho. The Lodge uncovers the trials and tribulations of running the QCL, as seen through the eyes of a diverse staff of 100 serving up to 200 guests every week.

"WFN's foray into reality TV is a natural extension of our expanded lineup of original programming," said Mark Rubinstein, President, WFN. "Fishing fans will enjoy this unprecedented peek into the unusual characters and amusing situations at one of the world's most successful and prominent lodges. It's just plain fun."

During season one of The Lodge, viewers are introduced to a host of characters including: fishing guide Ryan "Long-Jaw" Ashton, who helps a paraplegic former police officer fulfill his lifelong dream of trophy fishing; overworked mechanic "Sparky" who tends to the many repairs; the crew of the Driftwood, QCL's floating lunch vessel, who have trouble handling the stress of togetherness in tight quarters; and chefs under pressure to prepare a first-rate meal for a private dining group.

"WFN provides a great venue to show a targeted audience of avid anglers why the Queen Charlotte Lodge is truly one of the world's most prominent lodges," said Duane Foerter Marketing Manager of the Queen Charlotte Lodge. "We look forward to sharing the variety of experiences both on and off the water at the Queen Charlotte Lodge with anglers across North America."
