$20,000 Angler’s Choice “Guess the Weight” contest

Nothing says excitement like the start of the tournament season and those of us here at U.S. Angler’s Choice are very excited about our season opener this February 27th-28th at Lake Oroville. How excited? Well, let’s just say that we are amped enough to offer to our contestants and all of those who follow our events on WesternBass.com the opportunity to win $20,000! The premise of this $20,000 offer is quite simple. Guess the exact winning weight of both the Pro and Am angler in hundredths of a pound (ie: 27.44 lbs Pro - 19.71 lbs Am) for the Angler’s Choice Lake Oroville Pro-am and you are a winner! This is by far the most lucrative guess the weight contest that has been offered to WesternBass.com users ever.

There are a few simple rules for this contest that are as follows:

1. This contest is open to all age 18 or older, however employees, agents, successors, and assignees of sponsor, its advertising agencies, and promotional companies involved in this promotion, as well as family and household members of same, shall be ineligible to participate in the promotion and shall be ineligible for the $20,00 prize

2. Names and likenesses of the promotion winner may be used by sponsor or sponsor’s designees for promotional purposes without further compensation to the sponsor or promotion winner.

3. Guesses are limited to one (1) per user name and three (3) per IP address. Any guesses made above and beyond this will be disqualified.

4. In the event of a tie, the first person to make the winning guess as shown by date and posting time will be declared the winner

5. No edited posts will be allowed. Any guess that is edited will be automatically disqualified. 6. Guessing will end at midnight February 24th, 2010 or when 2,500 guesses have been submitted, whichever comes first. Winner, if any, will be announced at the end of the tournament on www.westernbass.com.

7. Guesses will be for the exact tournament winning weight of both the Pro angler and the Am angler.

8. Guesses must be made in hundredths (1/100ths) of a pound. All guesses must denote which weight is attributable to the Pro angler and which weight is given to the AM angler. Ambiguous entries will be disqualified. It is recommended that you use the following format:
Pro – 25.53 lbs
Am - 21.66 lbs

The U.S. Anglers Choice payback is one of the best in the west. The Payback for 2010 exceeds 100% on the Pro angler side. Best of all, its’ what you the angler can use – straight up cash! Furthermore, our complete payback and options payback will be posted as soon at the partner pairing meetings start. No more guessing what the true numbers are and what you will be paid for your finish.

BONUS CASH** - In addition to a great stand-alone payback, Angler’s Choice is holding in reserve 20% of the Pro entry money and 10% of the Am entry money for the final event of the year. This reserve will be awarded as Bonus Cash to the top 10 Pro and Am fishermen who participated in all four events over the course of the 2010 season. This is not a year end point’s race as the Bonus Cash paybacks are awarded based on participation, so everyone has a shot at winning regardless of how well you fish during the first three tournaments. Based upon full fields at all four AC Pro-Ams, this would amount to $51,000 on the Pro side and $13,500 for the Am anglers. These numbers do not include 100% paid back option money or other winnings from the final tournament. The top finishing pro at the end of the year will more than likely walk away with a $30,000 payday – more cash than is available at any other weekend Pro-Am! You can only get in on the Bonus cash by fishing all four events though, so sign up now!

Angler’s Choice Pro-am events use a shared weight formula in which each day’s Pro and Am angler effectively fish as a team to catch their best five fish limit. The Pro and Am angler “Share” the total weight, which carries over to the next day of fishing. Pro and Am anglers are paired up with different partners for the second and any subsequent days of fishing.

Entry fee for the 2010 season is $425 for Pro anglers and $225 for Am anglers. Pro and Am anglers who sign up together are given a guaranteed entry status. All other entries will be taken on a first come, first serve basis and paired accordingly.

All Options at Angler’s Choice Pro-Am events are paid back 100% and both the Pro and Am anglers have their own separate option pools. Options for the 2010 season will include a $50 Big Bass option that will pay out to the top two largest bass of each day. There is also a $50 Top ten option that pays out to the top 10 Pro and top 10 Am anglers entered into this option pool at the end of the tournament. Break down of these options are shown below with the tournament payback.

So, whether you actually hit the water or not, it pays to fish with U.S. Angler’s Choice. Stay tuned for daily tournament results on the Anglers Choice website at www.usanglerschoice.net as well as www.westernbass.com. Place your guess on-line today!
