Field Set for Ranger Cup University Lake Amistad Fish-Off

FLIPPIN, AR-- Anglers from Georgia Southern University and Virginia Tech University will participate in an all-expense-paid competition at Lake Amistad on November 17, made possible by their participation in the Ranger Cup University program. The collegiate anglers will fish from brand-new, fully rigged Ranger boats during the made-for-TV competition, which will air nationally on NBC Sports Network's Americana Outdoors. The grand prize package includes over $2,000 in cash and prizes awarded to the winning team.

Caron Rejzer and Wyatt Blevins, both collegiate anglers from Virginia Tech University qualified for the Lake Amistad event by being the highest-finishing Ranger Cup University participants in the FLW College Fishing National Championship. Justin Hewlett and Geoff Hill, collegiate anglers from Georgia Southern University, claimed the highest place of finish for a Ranger Cup University-qualified team at the BoatUS Collegiate Bass Fishing Championship.
