PEEPS Go Boating in BoatUS Foundation Diorama Contest

ANNAPOLIS, Md. - It's not like any other PEEPS Diorama Contest. And just in case you have never heard of the people who design, layout, install, and even dress-up those soft yellow marshmallow chicks for spectacularly scenic depictions of history or modern culture, you are invited to find out by entering the BoatUS Foundation Diorama Contest.

"The way to score points with the judges is to depict boating, with extra points for including boating safety or clean water issues," said a tight-lipped BoatUS Foundation Program Manager Alanna Keating, who gave nary a peep on any further tips on winning.

This is the second year the national boating safety and clean water non-profit has shamelessly exploited the soft and sugary Easter-themed treats as a way to encourage safe and environmentally-friendly boating habits. To enter, simply submit a photo of your boating-themed PEEPS diorama on the BoatUS Foundation Facebook page by March 31, 2013. Diorama photos meeting contest guidelines will then be posted for public voting starting April 3rd. The photo with the most votes wins bragging rights until next year and two inflatable life jackets.
