Yamaha has an excellent opportunity for a successful Propeller & Marine
Product Specialist, Marine Group in our Kennesaw, GA office. The successful
candidate will provide product-focused research, analysis, documentation, and
reporting necessary to enhance Yamaha Propeller and Marine Product Information
business, including product training.
Specific duties include, but are not limited to:
Support functions associated with Propeller and Marine product development,
information, education, training, including materials development.
Gather, analyze, and report product and market focused research, including
competitive analysis and market trends.
Conduct, analyze, and report results of product and market based survery.
Create and maintain regular and on-demand reports.
Assist in the development, distribution and delivery of business-to-business
and business to consumer product marketing, information and training
collateral.
Help develop and maintain sources and distribution channels of product
information
Assist in verifying product message accuracy and consistency.
Attend trade and consumer shows and events to provide Yamaha product support
and market research.
Support maintenance and execution of customer driven product plans.
Support departments within Yamaha Marine division to obtain goals and increase
sales.
Approximately 20% travel required
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree preferred, or equivalent work experience in a related role
3 years plus experience in a data-gathering, analysis and reporting capacity
preferred with market and product analysis experience
3 years plus product oriented background preferably in the Marine industry
Marine industry experience preferred, knowledgeable in the area of dealership
operations, motorized products or boating preferred but not required.
Demonstrated product education and training experience including material
preparation and presentation delivery
Demonstrated business-to-business and business-to-consumer experience including
direct customer contact
Requires strong Excel, Word and PowerPoint skills and Adobe Photoshop and/or
graphic production abilities is helpful
Strong verbal and written communication skills
